Today I lost a friend

This day seemed to be full of possibilities that could never end

And although our time together was brief

Our friendship was as if we`ve known each other for years

Today I lost a friend

Who was vibrant both inside and out

Someone who bought sunshine to a cold snowy day

Today I lost a friend

Now my days are no longer the same

Our friendship had great potential

Than was suddenly taken away

Today I lost a friend

Before it had a chance to grow, our friendship has come to an end because now my friend is gone and I will miss our friendship so

Today I lost a friend

And now I will mourn our lose of a beautiful friend until the end

Today I wish my friend was here to make the hurting stop

But maybe the Lord felt that it was best if we were apart
