I'm the East Lab instructor at Cloverdale Magnet Middle School.
I coach football and I supervise the J.R.O.T.C. program. I am
married to the greatest woman in the world. I have one lovely
daughter who is a cheerleader for Little Rock Central and a nine year old son at Otter Creek Elementary and a
step-son at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. My children
and I are products of the Little Rock School systems. Teaching is a second career for me and I have been
teaching for over 22 years. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in
Education degree from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway.
My other career is with the Arkansas Army National Guard; where I
serve as the Joint Force Headquarter's Master Chaplain Assistant
NCO for the State of Arkansas. I've been a part of the ARNG for
over twenty-three years. I was deployed to Iraq from Oct 2003 to Apr
2005 with the 39th Infantry Brigade. I served as the Brigade
Chaplain Assistant. I'm a member of St. Mark Baptist Church where I
sing in the sactuary choir, whenever Uncle Sam doesn't have me
preoccupied. I spend a lot of my time preparing for school,
coaching, instructing JROTC cadets and teaching. My most recent
ambition is to help make my middle school one of the best in the
Little Rock School District; a place where I would like to send my
own child someday. My Pastor is the Bishop Steven M. Arnold. If you
ever visit Little Rock. You have to attend one of the three worship
services. 8:00, 10:00 & 11:30. In the fall of last year, the choir released a new
CD/DVD entitled "Next Level Praise" It is an awesome project! I
enjoy watching movies, reading and taking vacations. The most
recent book that I read was "Audacity of Hope"
by Senator Barack Obama. The last vacation I took was to Orlando, FL in July, 2008. My family and I had a great time.
