Welcome...
I`m not very good at describing who I am, well at least not in an essay format. I guess that I`ll give a generic overview of who I am. It's been a while, so I thought that it'd be a good idea to update my information, as a lot of it was waaay outdated. My daughter is now eight years old, in the 3rd grade, and a bright and witty as ever. I can't believe how time is flying with her. It seems like just yesterday I was on here bragging about her reading all of those books back in the first grade. I don't want to be one of those parents that constantly trumpet the accomplishments of their bad %#&@$! kids, but I'm very proud of my little lady and I'm blessed to have such a great child, so if a little horn tooting with regards to her, please forgive me. I finally decided to post a few pictures of her on here....Just a note to all of the perverts and potential boyfriend types....I am a registered handgun owner and will go Axl Foley on that @ss if I have to. Overall I'm a pretty non-violent young man, just don't turn the channel when the Canes are on, don't steal my fruit snacks, and don't mess with the family and I'll be as cool as Ghandi.
At last update I was still a student at the University of Akron, but I after spending three years and several thousands of non-refundable dollars I decided to pull a Kanye and retire from college. I'd always planned on attending law school and saving the world, but as I outgrew that foolishness. I still admire those that finish what they start with regards to college or whatever type of schooling that you may be going through. So to all my students out there, when things start to get hard, remember what my momma used to say to me..."The race is not given to the swift or the strong, but the one who endures to the finish". Hopefully ya'll will take heed to it, unlike myself :).
I`m still a sports (especially football) junkie. I still love shopping, especially for shoes. I haven't been able to shop and carry on as much as I'd like lately, because I recently bought a home and my daughter's school tuition is a beast! So I can't go around spending on tennis shoes and track jackets all willy nilly. .. I`m still a music and movie buff. I had approx 400 dvd`s at last count. I love to laugh, I hate to dance, I don`t drink or smoke, but I dig beer drinking women :) I`m rarely (almost never) go out. I`m a homebody, so clubs have never been my spoon of tea. I've pretty much become a soccer dad....Minus the soccer, as my daughter is the living definition of unathletic.
Oh, I`m 5'11" by the way. People always ask my height for some reason. I live alone (although my daughter spends most weekends with me) which is a good thing since I walk around bottomless all of the time. I love Al Green, vintage Nike`s, thrift stores, black women, big rumps, photography, my Miami Hurricanes, old espisodes of Martin, interior design, club pictures of people doing the jail pose....I could go on, but I`m beginning to ramble.
Oh, and if you're wondering I am single, but not actively looking for anyone or anything in particular at this time. I ultimately want to meet and build a relationship with Ms. Right, but after going through this most recent relationship, I now know that I need to be more care, selective, patient, etc. I'm still relatively young and I have a lot of time (Lord willing) to find someone that I can develope that Huxtable-esque life with. So, I'll just play it how it comes, with no expectations and no intentions outside of friendship and see what happens. Hopefully you're reading this and feel what it is that I'm saying. Oh, and for all of you that are curious, MacTheKnife is the name of an jazz record that I used to like back in high school. So you don't have to fear, I don't have any OJ tendencies, although I do like white girls and white Broncos....That's a joke of course
