"Madd-Scorp" Born in a small town Arkansas the 26-year-old native of Memphis, TN Turiel "Madd-Scorp" Chitman has dedicated his life to not only being the truth, but also living up to his name. "I've seen a lot growing up. Music is my life cause I can tell my story and interact with people through my music," Since the age of 4, Scorp has been in love with music. " I remember running around the house with my brother in socks listening to Michael Jackson". He learned to play piano around age 10 and moved on to creating beats by the age of thirteen. He "Music kept me out of trouble." Music production motivated him to learn more about the craft, and also challenged him to pursue his goal of being an artist/producer. the experience made him focus even more on getting in the booth. "I was always a deep thinker but then I started reading books and thought, 'what about bars? What's my flow?'" Scorp started working on his poetry and rhyme patterns, and it wasn't long before he birthed his style "we had the whole school buying our album. After a short stint as co-producer for the versatile clique (a group which was formed amongst he and a couple of high school friends in 1999 Scorp, One Love Thug & Johny Dange. "We had them going crazy over our music". After high school the group began to go their separate ways. In 2000 Scorp started a record label "Shinning Crown Records ". Soon evolved into the well-known South Beef Records . Founded in 2005 by the Scorp. While sitting on a gold mine Scorp is more interested in a worldwide "Southern Takeover".
