When you know what you know, and you live according to that knowledge, why would someone attempt to tell you different? I learn new things constantly. That learning rarely causes me to change my core understanding of myself. To thine own self be true, and you'll find that lying to others is useless. It is written that what motivates us also defines us. A love for God empowers us to obey. Whatever or whoever your God is should provide a framework for living and loving. Subjecting to the bondage liberates the spirit to be who and what you are as long as it is true. Define your Gods so that you can define yourself.
