personal message

Hello All--

First and Foremost, I want to give THANKS AND PRAISE TO GOD for all that he has given me, the trails he has enabled me to endure, and the blessings he has bestowed upon me. I'm not a "Bible-Thumper", but I do have a very solid spiritual foundation, and I do understand that with Him, anything in this world is possible.

My name is Marc, and it is indeed a pleasure to be here. I am a gentleman who is very intelligent, down to earth, easy-going, understanding, out-going, well-groomed, ambitious, and afro-centric. Not on BP looking for a wife/soulmate, but just people who love life, appreciate their place in it, and have drive/ambition. We ALL have so much to be thankful for, so why not make the most of the time we have here; complaining and criticizing is for losers. And most likely, those doing such are unhappy with themselves.

I am a man of SUBSTANCE. Indeed, we all like and admire things that are appealing to the eye, however, we all have enough common sense to realize that there's more to a person than good looks and sex appeal. If that were the case, the pool of eligible men and women wouldn't be so large LOL. I LOVE THICK/FULL-FIGURED Black women WITH A MIND. Having an attitude, or being a drama-queen does not qualify as such; but rather a woman who loves life, enjoys many different interests, respects people, is positive with her words and actions, and surrounds herself with like-minded people.

Indeed, Black Women, you do have it hard out here--many of you raising kids without a father or positive black male role model in their lives, not being appreciated for being the backbone of the Black community for centuries, and then having to work a job where your contributions are not properly recognized, it's very disheartening. Hopefully, ONE DAY we Black men will awaken from the "deep slumber" we are in collectively, work harder, be better fathers and lovers of Black Women, and provide young black men and women with the knowledge, wisdom, and understanding that only a Black Man can give. That day will come.

2 truths and a lie

Two of these are true about me. No joke. Which one's the lie? Take a guess...
