WhaT iM aBoUT.... Nothing in this life is worth my unyielding
devotion unless I first desire it with all my heart. Too many of us
settle. Whether it be in our love interests or our private careers.
I cannot allow myself to settle for the rotted fruits of even the
greatest labor. There is no room for uncertainty nor doubt. Fuck
the future, I want this dream now, and I will remain relentless in
my approach until I am better than yesterday and more than
tomorrow. Two steps ahead of you and three steps ahead of myself.
You see, a passion like this can burn forever if we learn to
constantly challenge ourselves. Life is not about attaining goals
and feeling content with our accomplishments. Life is a cycle, a
perpetual quest, an endless pursuit. The promise of tomorrow is
quite a crafty illusion, is it not? Live for the future, and you
are already dead. There is no tomorrow, only the moment, an endless
race. I run astride my apprehensions and shortcomings, aided only
by the sound of my heaving breath and a burn in my chest. I enjoy
where I am, but I'm enamored with the idea of what I can become.
I'm compelled to go on this way, with this perpetual task set
before me. I never want to lose this feeling- this fire. Is this
not the very essence of life? And those who know me best know that
to be loved and desired by me is to be loved to the very depth of
what ones heart may be worthy to hold. In love, as in life, I give
nothing less than everything. I will have it no other way. I may
very well self combust; dissipate into a fiery blaze but thats just
the risk Im willing to take. Thats what passion does, it burns.
Burns inside your heart until you begin to live the life you've
imagined. I will become more than anyone, even I, would have ever
imagined.
