So now that you've had a glimpse of my poetic side (I love that quote above) I guess this is where I tell a bit about who I am, right?

Okay... The basics... I'm single with no children and one very loving, spoiled rotten cat named Ansel. He and I live alone on the top floor of a newly renovated condo which affords us the fabulous view you'll see in a few of my photos.

I live work and play in DC, so I don't drive (I know that's an issue for lots of women, so I'll put it out there now). I may decide to once again join the masses as they engage in road rage, but for now... Metro and taxi's are just fine by me. :)

I work full-time as an IT director for a DC government agency, but spend much of my free time working as a Screenwriter. I've had a few paid jobs for short films, but hope to one day see my own creation grace the silver screen in thousands of multiplexes around the globe. Movies (and music) are my lifelong passions and writing is second nature to me.

I love a good bottle of wine, weekend getaways, good company, being turned on to new music (Indian acid jazz is the bomb!), and meeting down-to-Earth, sexy (but not trampy) women with a true understanding of the word partnership and who enjoy a dose of dry wit.

I'm a smoker (I say that reluctantly, as I hope to quit this year), but if that's a deal breaker, it's best to say it up front. lol :) Anything else you'd like to know, just ask... I'm truly an open book. ~Mike Muse
