"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others." -Marianne Williamson
Everything happens for a reason; even if you don't understand the reason at the time. I am SO grateful and blessed for everything in my life (good and bad) because I truly learn from every experience. Isn't that what Life is about? This year has been eventful and I can't wait to see what God has in store for me next! Thank you Jesus for all the doors you continue to open for me and for answering everytime the devil comes knocking. I don't have friends, I have family. Let me say that again...I DON'T HAVE FRIENDS...I HAVE FAMILY!!! Family is very important to me and if I consider you a friend, you best believe you're family! Yes, you can have my time, money, food, etc. Yes, you can borrow my clothes, money, car, etc. Friends are the only family that you get to choose. Sometimes we choose wisely and sometimes we don't. As you grow and change so does your inner circle and even though friendships may end, the memories you've created will never be forgotten. So to all my family past and present, THANK U and I LOVE U. ***THOUGHT FOR THE DAY*** If we always do what we`ve always done, we will always get what we`ve always had!!! Think about it. Welcome! Some say I`m crazy and I respond ..."Just a little and that`s all I`m willing to admit to"...(Scrunch don`t say a word!) I love to travel with family and friends and am blessed with the opportunity to do so quite often for business and pleasure. The quality I find most attractive in men: HONESTY To me, the sexiest part of a man is his mind, back and lips. ;-) A Woman`s Worth In a brief conversation, a man asked a woman he was pursuing the question, "What kind of man are you looking for?" She sat quietly for a moment before looking him in the eye and asking, "Do you really want to know?" Reluctantly, he said, "Yes." She began to expound... "As a woman in this day and age, I am in a position to ask a man what he can do for me that I cannot do for myself. I pay my own bills. I take care of my household without the help of any man... or woman for that matter. I am in the position to ask, "What can you bring to the table?" The man looked at her. Clearly he thought that she was referring to money. She quickly corrected his thought and stated, "I am not referring to money. I need something more. I need a man who is striving for perfection in every aspect of life." He sat back in his chair, folded his arms, and asked her to explain. She said, "I am looking for someone who is striving for perfection mentally because I need conversation and mental stimulation. I don`t need a simple-minded man. I am looking for someone who is striving for perfection spiritually because I don`t need to be unequally yoked...believers mixed with unbelievers is a recipe for disaster. I need a man who is striving for perfection financially because I don`t need a financial burden. I am looking for someone who is sensitive enough to understand what I go through as a woman, but strong enough to keep me grounded.I am looking for someone who I can respect. In order to be submissive,I must respect him. I cannot be submissive to a man who isn`t taking care of his business. I have no problem being submissive... he just has to be worthy. God made woman to be a helpmate for man. I can`t help a man if he can`t help himself." When she finished she looked at him. He sat there with a puzzled look on his face and said, "You are asking a lot." She replied, "I am worth a lot." Enjoy the following Zen Musings: It`s always darkest before dawn. So if you`re going to steal your neighbor`s newspaper, that`s the time to do it. If you think nobody cares if you`re alive, try missing a couple of car payments. If at first you don`t succeed, skydiving is not for you. If you lend someone $20, and never see that person again, it was probably worth it. If you tell the truth, you don`t have to remember anything. The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket. Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me, either. Just leave me the hell alone! SOME PEOPLE ARE LIKE SLINKIES... THEY ARE NOT REALLY GOOD FOR ANYTHING...BUT, THEY STILL BRING A SMILE TO YOUR FACE WHEN YOU PUSH THEM DOWN A FLIGHT OF STAIRS. ;-) "God grant me the serenity to accept the people I cannot change, the courage to change the ONE I can, and the wisdom to know it`s ME" REMEMBER: Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away!
