Thanks for Stopping by my little corner of BlackPlanet... This is the hard part, all that talking about myself..... Instead let me share a few thoughts. Today I am just the average woman but when I was a young girl I thought I knew everything, and if you asked me that I would have told you so. As a grown woman I realize that not only do I not know everything but in fact I really don't know much at all. That is a beautiful place because it humbles me, grounds me and causes me to learn something each day. That makes me appreciate life and people. The one thing I know is times have changed... Remember when the grown gentleman was popular and it was common for a real man to: Open the car door for you ...well any door for that matter and Stand up when I approaches, or walks in the room or leaves the table etc (They use to do that in the old days) Offer the seat. Offer to help... carry the bag/package. Say nice things that complimented me, expressed the attraction, without the raunchiness Fight for my honor... not be the one who steals it I could go on and on... and somewhere there is a man reading this and he saying yeah right... or she can't be serious, if so that's too bad...Too bad that things have come so far that all of it seems far fetched.
