"No man or woman is worth your tears, and the one who is, won't make you cry." Laid back and easy going. Love to listen, love and learn. Basically I just try to keep life simple despite the lemons that we get served. Try not to take myself too serious and I avoid those that do. Right now I'm getting adjusted to my new life and I must admit I am not missing the drama. I have 3 sons and 4 grands that I love dearly but that's a given. What parent or grandparent would write otherwise, right? I love hanging around friends and family, love to laugh and smile; adds years to your life. I retired in 2006 from a global telecommunications firm and currently have my own telecommunication contracting business. Business has begun to grow after some very lean years during the recession. My leisurely pursuits include cooking, golf, happy hour, listening to music and traveling. Favorite destinations are New Orleans, Jamaica, Dominican Republic or anywhere there are blue waters and trade winds. I almost forgot anyplace that have beautiful golf courses. I hope to do Alaska and South Africa one day. Do things mostly on a whim; not one to do a lot of planning. Otherwise I'm just a lovable hopeless romantic that's trying not to let life's hardships extinguish the flame. I love my suits and shoes but I'm comfortable in my jeans and tennis shoes as well. I've put the love life on hold for now, that is unless love sneaks up on me lol. I'm a firm believer in falling in love with your best friend so it's important to take time to get to know each other. I have a zero tolerance policy for drama. Many people claim this but after you get to know them after a few weeks or months, you discover their dark side. If you're not capable of civil discourse, let's keep it moving. I love communicating with my BP friends, whether it's messages or telephone. My friends never have to worry about me disrespecting or trying to push up on them. My mother taught me better smile. Final note: if your profile pic is scantily clad with body parts hanging out, I will not accept you as a friend.
