I am a 27 year old, 100% Chi-town beauty. Im a Christian (please respect that) & I love singing, especially gospel music. Im a very intelligent, highly motivated, and an extremely driven young woman and I expect that same mindset for everyone else in my life.
I am college graduate with a Bachelors in Business Management & Marketing. I have a great job (Check out the professional profile) and in the near future I plan on beginning my journey towards an MBA. Im basically here to network and meet other like minded people.
Before I go, I feel that I need to include an addition on The Makings of Moniyia. I am often asked what makes me who I am? What makes my thinking unique to many who get to know me? Below Ive included a little about me which will hopefully negate any future notes asking me to tell a little about myself. I love God. I think summer rain makes for peaceful afternoons. I love shoes, but would definitely splurge on a nice purse & a sparkly pair of earrings. I love Purple Roses & White Calla Lilies. I love the shimmer in shimmery eyeshadow. I breathe music. I love laughing... I can't stop smiling. I think Reese's Peanut Butter cups are the best though I am partial to Reese's pieces. I LOVE love. I have an incredible mother. I am most often said to resemble Meagan Good. I helped start my College Gospel Choir; I was President all four years. I am very anal about proper grammar & I do check for correct punctuations... even in my text messages. I'm always told I have pretty feet. I eat ice cream in the winter & soup in the summer... on purpose. I've never been a party girl. I have a wonderful example of resilient love in my parents. I think Neo-Soul music is the only real music that exists; besides Gospel. I can't wait to meet my husband. I love shoes (again) though this time I will add that I think it's a slight addiction. I love Okra, Spinach and Sushi!... But I hate Bananas. I was once told that I look like one of MaryMary's sisters; by MaryMary. I only like being downtown at night... I love the city lights. I love my job. I prefer ketchup to mustard. I can't tell a joke without the requirement of thought to its understanding therefore; I am intrigued by educated conversation. I have accomplished a great deal for my age. I once was the youngest employee at a company publishing the oldest African-American magazines in the country. I would prefer one long-lasting, meaningful relationship to a number of random encounters. I could have been an English professor. I prefer harmony to unison. I have a drive to succeed that you wouldn't believe. I first notice a man's intelligence. I won 1st place in the talent show in college; twice. I love my family. I listen to others problems and can give advice to a fault. I still believe there is someone for everyone & that there are still men around who were raised to be TRUE gentlemen. I'm fragile hearted... I will care about you more than you are ready for. I realize that God has made me this way. I love that I am tender hearted, always expecting the best of people; often knowing that is not what I will get... I still trust everytime. This is how God made me and Im okay with that.
