This is a little something I wrote. I hope you like it.

"A Dream"

I had a dream yesterday,

I dreamed I fell in love,

My lover was a sweet and angelic woman,

She approached me in the most respectful manner,

In my dream she was a beautiful Nubian Princess,

Her skin was soft, smooth, and silky just like the richest cocolate,

I have dreamed of falling in love before but never like this,

This dream seemed so real I had to pinch myself,

How can a princess like her be mine,

I woke up and my heart was filled with pain and sorrow,

I saw pictures and little accouterments of her in my room,

Damn was this dream for real,

Have I slept through the greatest love that I`ll ever have,

As I sat at the edge of my bed thinking about my dream,

I heard the phone ringing "ring.ring"

"Hello",

"Baby we need to talk about us and to see where we stand",

Damn my dream must have been real,

I never thought being in love would feel like a wonderful dream,

Tonight I must not dream of a greater love but rekindle the love I have because the greatest love is not dreamed it is for real.
