I am just here to communicate with mature ADULTS and other Grown Folks with similar interests and pass the time while at work sometimes on not so busy days. Send me a note in your own words (not one click, no cut and paste) before you try to add me to your friends list. Otherwise I'm hitting the "REJECT" button.
Normally I do not spend a lot of time here so I may not see your notes right away. If you send me a note before you read my page I will figure that $#1+ out. If you send a note trying to sell something, I'll quickly delete it and think nothing of it. NO means NO! Are we CLEAR?
Same goes for invites from people with blurry or no pictures. It's 2010; everybody and their grandmama got digital cameras or cell phone cams with resolution higher than 320X320. I have very recent clear photos of myself, WYSIWYG. Also if you send me a note and I look at your profile and it says you are in Africa or anywhere outside north America, I will ignore you unless you prove you aren't some scam artist. I am an Information Technology Professional I know all the scams! DUMMY!
Seriously though ladies and gentlemen, I AM NOT here for a "booty call", a "hook up", to hear your sales pitch, or to join some silly pyramid scheme trying to get rich quick. Don't send me an invite if all you are trying to do is advertise another dating site, your business, or promote some sort of event other than Meet and Greets. (I ignore celebrity page invites too) I get enough of looking at advertisement banners, unwanted and ANNOYING "pop up" ads online without having to tolerate YOURS on MY page too. And while I'm at it, DO NOT try to sell me anything ...my answer is NO. see the period right there? I don't need anything from anyone here. If I do have a need for something I know who to contact and where to go get it. I do all my business face to face, there's too many crooked people online as well as everywhere else.
By the way, if you see my name in your page log and I didn't leave a note, I probably just passed on thru because you have music playing on your page and it took eons to load up. That's just not cool anymore, in fact it's very annoying! I click on the X when I hear music blaring from a page. I grew weary of scrolling down to find the music player so I can shut it down. Give ME the choice of listening to music that you like. Don't force it on me by having the player start automatically at the very bottom of your page.
As you may (or may not) have guessed by my name I love to roller skate. (not rollerblade) It isn't just for kids anymore. I've been doing it since I was 7 or 8. I stopped for a while but I got back into it and now I get my roll on from 2 to 5 times a week. I like smooth old skool R&B and Jazz. I can roll to some of the rap and hip-hop beats, I just don't care for some of the lyrics. Looking for things associated with rollerskating? Life is what you make of it. I am determined to make the best of mine. I've been through some tough times and have been down and out, I'm on my way back up so if you ain't going up, get off the ladder before I have to climb over you or knock you off.
