I'm a RETIREE (12/2011) and loving it! Hitting the road while I'm young & healthy enough to enjoy the journey, I'm ready to explore this whole NEW life and all of the GOOD things it has to offer. Special moments are meant to be shared. Welcome to my small corner of the PLANET. First Impressions are Lasting Impressions! It's disappointing how many Scammers and game players are here! Sorry but I will NOT contact anyone off BP boards until I'm comfortable with what I've learned about you right here. Empty profile, no pics, vague info - forget it. "Dream In Color" by Regina belle I'm a cool, unpretentious, average mid-west lady who doesn't require anything complicated, selfish or impossible to give. I'm the "DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE THEM DO UNTO YOU" type. Family is important - those are the people who love you WITH your faults! I love quiet evenings, romantic drives, taking in a concert or play, a secluded smooth jazz lounge or restaurant booth, or staying home to watch a movie. I'm comfortable in jeans or an evening dress. I am very sincere, & down-to-earth, but no push-over. I'm happy, genuine, honest, and mature. I love to laugh, it releases all those good things inside the body that keeps one healthy! Two-way communication, honesty, kind & constructive criticism, integrity, trust, supportive & consideration are important. The qualities that I bring are all that I ask in return - anything else is a bonus. I am spiritual & love the Lord, though not a religious fanatic. I love traveling - even getting lost; in so doing, I get the pleasure of seeing something that I would otherwise have missed. I'm more than willing to try new experiences - within reason. I don't do extreme sports - one of us has to live to tell the story... I'm strong enough to take care of myself; yet, 'weak' enough to let a REAL MAN be the man. Yeah, a few of us still exist. I don't rule out distance - wouldn't want to pass up the one that God has waiting for me. With the right chemistry everything else will fall into place. Where there's a will, He'll make a way! I joined BP looking for music forums and stumbled upon this site while cruising the neighborhood. I browsed and thought, "hmmm, perhaps I'll stay awhile." I am single by choice, weary of games, but still believe there is just ONE out there who has gotten all of the crap out of his system and is READY to embark upon a REAL relationship with someone else who's real. I LOVE Classic R&B Oldies; REAL music, REAL artists, REAL instruments! What do I seek in a partner? I'm glad you asked! First of all he must be a WHOLE person (emotionally, physically, spiritually; not seeking someone to make him whole). The qualities that I bring are all that I ask for in a relationship. Simply stated, I don't expect what I'm not capable of giving back. Please don't push or rush me, though. I may ask lots of questions in an effort to know who you are, how you think, and how compatible we are together. I may sometimes appear silent - but, know that I'm listening and watching what you say and do. Gotta feel confident that I can trust you with my heart. Small gestures that SHOW you care speak volumes about the sincerity of your heart and gets reciprocated. I love a good brother who can balance the qualities of a gentleman with a little 'edge' to keep a relationship alluring and exciting.
