In the name of Allah, the most beneficent and the most merciful











To my brothers & sisters In Islam, welcome. I will use this page to express myself, my thoughts, ideas, and my knowledge, if you disagree with various things i may say, you are more than welcome to leave your thoughts on my guestbook, so i might clairify whats not clear, or provide reason for the things i say.



Why Muslims?



why are muslims always labelled incorrectly?. We are called fanatics when all we preach is peace. We are called terrorists when a foolish person hiding behind islam kills innocent people (yet we are all held under the same banner - why may I ask? - what happened to the method that the actions of one person does not speak for the whole group?).

One thing I have learned about the people of the world is that it chooses to label one group of people one thing - while at the same it chooses to ignore the injustices of the world - none more so than whatz happening in Palestine.

It puzzles me that the people who are not fair in dishing out blame are themselves supporting & financing others to carry out the grosss injustices in which they themselves have suffered - I don`t like injustices -I believe in equality for mankind, regardless of colour, religion or any other differences.

We are all different, yet we all demand the same level of fair play. Treat people fair, so they can do the same to others.



Since Sept.11, We as muslims have been apologising for the actions of those people who have killed so many innocent people(including people of all faith). Its been an eye opener for me anyway as I was not aware that there were so many ignorant people about islam. In my opinion there is nothing worse than an ignorant person with an opinion about something they are completely clueless about. If You have no idea, ask - educate yourself. We are taught that the tool for progression is education - we all know how valuable it is & we also know that without it - we know nothing!



just felt the need to have a quick dig at those ignorants - I`m sure u can tell how much I love them :-).







Way of life

We have not sent thee (O Mohummed) except as a universal (Messenger) to the whole of mankind, as a giver of glad tidings, and as a warner, but the majority of mankind still do not know. Holy Qur`an 34:28



Allah created man for a no other purpose but to worship Him and lead a life based on His teachings and guidance. How would man know his role and purpose of his existence unless he received clear and executable instructions of what Allah wants him to do.

Knowing that, our purpose for creation why are we so reluctant to worship Allah, and lead a life that encourages us to do GOOD and push aside all thats is BAD.



The farewell Speech



After the Performance of his last Hajj, Prophet Muhammad(Peace be Upon him(PBUH) ) delivered the farewell speech at mount arafat. This speech was one of the most memorable in the whole history of Islam.



Praising and thanking Allah, the Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) said : " O people, listen to my word carefully, for I know not whether I would meet you again on such an occasion.

O people, just as you regard this month, this day, this city as sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslimas a sacred trust. Remember that you will indeed appear before Allah and answer for your actions.

Return the things kept with you as trust(amanah) to their rightful owners. All dues of interest shall stand cancelled and you will have onlyyour capital back, Allah has forbidden interest, and I cancel the dues of interest payable to my uncle `Abbas bin `Abdul Muttalib.

O people, your wives have certain right over you and you have certain rights over them. Treat them well and be kind to them, for they are your partners and committed helpers.

Beware of satan, he is desperate to divert you from the worship of Allah, so beware of him in matters of your religion.

O People, listen carefully! All believers are brothers. You are not allowed to take the things belonging to another Muslim unless he gives it to you willingly.

O people, none is higher than the other unless he is higher in obedience to Allah. No Arab is any superior to a non-Arab except in piety.

O people, reflect on my words. I leave behind me two things, the Quran and My example, and if you follow these, you will not fail.

Listen to me carefully! Worship Allah and offer salah, observe Sawn in the month of ramadan, and pay Zakah.

O people, be mindful of those who work under you. Feed them and clothe them as you feed and clothe yourselves.

O people, no other prophet or messenger will come after me and no new faith will emerge.

All those who listen shall pass my words to others, and those to others again." The prophet than asked, "Have I conveyed the message of Allah to you, O people?" The audience answered in one voice, " Yes, you have; Allah is the witness."

As the prophet finished the following revelation came to him:

" Today I have perfected your religion for you, completed my favour upon on you and have chosen for you Islam as the way of your life."(5:3)



A muslim Lady!?!

She is an individual, not your average women - her believe in Allah moves her away from the fairytale of this life and prepares her for the hereafter. Being obedient to Allah is her goal. She knows where she is heading and how to get there. She knows that satisfying man with her charm & beauty is not what she wants but rather please Allah. She loves all that Allah loves and hates all that Allah hates. She oozes class, and is respected my muslims & non-muslims alike. She is a symbol of example, she deals fairly with everyone and displays honesty as she holds the Quran dear and obeys all that is in it, not part of it but all. She is no back-stabber, not one to entertain men interest, she is loyal - not the unfaithful type. This is a true muslim women. She is not the type of women that says `do as I say but don`t do as I do` - what she utters she practice.She is a role model, my role model. A muslim lady respects herself, her body, her mind and for that reason she takes care of herself - not polluting her mind with junk but rather purifying it with the words of Allah.

Women In Islam



Its seems all you have to do to attack Islam is to attack the status of women in Islam. Ignorant people will say what they precieve as the truth - well i`m here to enlighten you and show you how muslim women are seen in Islam and the status that is given to them.



Islam holds a women in high esteem. Her importance as a mother and a wife has been clearly stated by prophet Muhammad(PBUH).

The Prophet said, "Paradise lies at the feet of your mothers,."

Once a person asked the prophet , "who deserves the best care from me?" The prophet replied, " Your mother(the man repeated the same question 3 times and the prophet gave the same answer on all 3 occassions), then your father and then your nearest relatives."



This is the honour given to women in Islam, what higher honour is there?





IMPORTANT SAYINGS :-



" I am the youngest of you. I maybe a boy, my feet may not be strong enough but, O messenger of Allah, I shall be your helper. Whoever opposes you, I shall fight him as a mortal enemy."



These were the words of Ali, the cousin of the Prophet and then only a boy of ten. He spoke these words before the elders of Quraish during a dinner hosted by the prophet to invite them Islam.

Ali later became one of the important leaders in Islam. Here is some of his sayings:-



* One who knows himself, knows his creator.

* The Fear of Allah makes one secure.

* How can you rejoice about this life that grows shorter each hour?

* A world-wide reputation can be undone by an hour degradation.

* Three defects make life miserable:

-Vindictiveness,

-Jealousy,

-A bad character.

* One who is proud of wordly possessions in this fleeting life existence is ignorant.

* One who thinks himself the best is the worst.

* Learned men live even after death; ignorant men are dead although alive.

* There is no treasure like knowledge.

* Knowledge is wisdom and the educated man is the wise man.

* One who never corrects himself will never correct another.

* Listen, and you will teach yourself: remain silent, and you risk nothing.

* One who reflects on Allah`s Gifs, succeeds.

* Ignorance harms a man more than a cancer in the body.

* One of the signs of a stupid man is the frequent change of opinion.

* Beware of back-biting : it sows the seeds of bitterness, and seprates you from Allah and man.

* The best truthis the keeping of promises.

* Better be dumb than lie.

* Do not flatter, it is no sign of faith.

* A hypocrite`s tongue is clean, but there is sickness in his heart.

* Better be alone than with bad company.

* whoever sows good reaps his reward.

* Virtue is the key to success
