I`m Shan, a writer who has been enjoying the life of literary bliss, since the publishing of my first book (June 2003). That book consists of poetry and short stories (three of which are erotic).
UPDATE 1: My second book went live on September 22, 2004! I`m pleased that it`s now available via the online bookstores. Thanks to those of you who have supported me in this endeavor. Will drop information about Book Signings and speaking engagements as they come about.
UPDATE 2: My third book, which was written with four online message board "regulars" went live on May 18, 2005. It`s a compilation of erotica, poetry and short stories. Much appreciation for those of you who continue to uplift, encourage and support me in all that I do :) All that you know is REAL, so therefore all that you give is REAL.
Your admonishing me, admiring me and willingness to do whatever seemed to be in my best interest, were things that helped me to grow. It`s also what sets you apart from those who can only imagine what it must be like to have a TRUE FRIEND.
UPDATE 3: My fourth book went "live" today (2/28/2006). It is a book of poetry. I wrote it with my 15 year-old niece.
UPDATE 4: My fifth book went live today (June 6, 2006). It details my work as a Disaster Relief Worker, after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita hit.
Always remember - A "TRUE FRIEND" is going to love you whether you`re right or wrong. However, when you`re wrong it takes that same friend to let you know it, while attempting to help you accept it and hopefully see you grow from it. Anyone falling short of those expectations may be nothing more than an "Imaginary Playmate." For a"friend" who follows you to trouble, rather than lead you from it, is your worst enemy. UPDATE 5: My sixth book went live today (December 15, 2006). It's a book covering the reign of the first Black Homecoming Queen (1970) at a high school in a small town here in Texas (El Campo). She is a former co-worker of mine. It's a very short and informative little piece of work! I hope you'll enjoy it! :)
I`d also like to apologize for the hit or miss responses from me. I`m currently caught up in a whirlwind of opportunities and blessings and invite you to BASK IN MY GLOW.
NOTE: Far be it for me to knock anyone for their lifestyle, but I AM strictly heterosexual. By no means am I curious, confused or any of the other terms used to determine whether a straight person can eventually be "pulled."
