Our beautiful boats allow you elegant indoor and outdoor spaces that can easily accommodate parties up to 100. Your Cruise and Event Specialist will help you plan a menu, décor, and entertainment that will exceed your expectations. Your ceremony will take place on one of our outdoor top decks overlooking the lake. After your wedding ceremony is over family and guests can enjoy the ceremony and reception without traveling across town. Our wedding package includes exclusive use of the top and lower deck for your ceremony, placement of chairs and a DJ to play your wedding music. It also includes one hour rehearsal the day before for your wedding. 

Private Cruise Idea:

The cost of chartering a houseboat can be significantly reduced if three or four friends go together to host a party. For example, each student may be allowed 25 guests to invite and would end up paying 25% of the cost of the party. Create you own themed event! This will truly be a party that everyone will always remember.

Frequently Asked Questions for our Cruises

·         How far out should I make reservations?
We recommend making reservations as soon as you know you want to cruise or rent with us. Our rental and cruises sell-out quite often and if you don't make your reservations early enough, you could be left out.  Some cruises required a minimum number of tickets to be sold. If the cruise does not take place, you will receive a refund, minus paypal fees or can rescheduled for any upcoming cruise.

·         Seating                                                                                                                   All seating areas are public unless otherwise arranged with the event sales coordinator, and the group must pay for minimum required. You must tell us in advance if you have special requirements due to accessibility issues.  All boats are handicap accessible on the 1st deck only.

·         Does the boat sail in inclement weather?
Our cruises sail rain or shine. In the event of severe weather -related cruise cancellation, your cruise will be refunded or can be rescheduled for another upcoming cruise. Credit will be issued only if the rain persists for more than 30 minutes before rental. Rental Cancellation fees will be waived ONLY if the following conditions exist on the lake at the time of rental; heavy rain lasting more than 45 minutes, lightening, tornado warnings, high wind advisories or any condition that My’StiQ Entertainment Cruises considers unsafe boating conditions.

·         Do you have a dress code?
We do not have a dress code. Our customers dress in everything from casual to formal. We encourage everyone to dress based on the weather and occasion you are celebrating.

·         Are you handicapped accessible?
Although the boarding ramps and main decks of each vessel are accessible by wheelchairs, the restrooms are not wheelchair accessible. Neither vessel is equipped with elevators so access to upper decks by stairwell only. Please contact us with ANY questions.

·         Where will we go on our cruise?
It all depends on the length and theme of your cruise. A typical theme, lunch or dinner cruise will go up and down the lake, Sunset or CockTail Cove and then back around. Every cruise offers its own adventure. Sometimes our cruise routes vary depending on lake traffic. Our captains do their very best to provide optimal viewing of the Lake Lanier

·         Is smoking allowed on the boat?
Yes, smoking is allowed, but only on the back lower deck. No smoking is allowed anywhere on upper deck or the interior cabin of the boat.

·         Are drinks included with a dining cruise?
Iced Tea, Lemonade, Water or (2) complimentary bar tokens are included with all dining cruises. We can customize a bar for your special event.

·         How many people can fit on each boat? This is particular to each boat, see your boat description.

·         Will someone teach me how to drive the boat? Absolutely! For all other boat rentals we go over an instructional presentation educating our customers on the detailed operating procedures, the Georgia boating laws and regulations, Navigational markers, as well as Boater's safety and etiquette. Houseboat rentals require a $250 Captains fee.

·         Can one of your workers captain our boat?

·         Houseboat rentals require a $250 Captains fee.  Depending on availability you can hire a Captain for your personal rentals. Lake Allatoona or Lake Lanier. Captains fee $150 - $250 4hrs

·         Is it difficult to drive/park the boat? No at all! In fact, if you're a driver, you're a boater!

·         Do you allow pets on the boat? No.

·         Do you allow grills on the boat? No, but there are several day use areas nearby that are equipped with grills and picnic tables.

·         Do you allow kegs on the boat? Yes, on private rentals. However you must have a sober driver. DUI laws apply on the water as they do on land. Please note that the weight of the keg will contribute to the maximum weight allotment for the watercraft. Therefore, reducing the number of people allowed onboard.

·         What kind of damage/security deposit do I have to provide? We require a $500 deposit on all boats.

·         What kind of information do I need to bring with me to rent? A valid/official driver's license and major credit card for deposit. Just an ID will not qualify you to operate any watercraft. The name on the credit card and the name on the driver's license must match.

·         Is insurance provided? Yes, we do offer no-fault collision insurance for casual boat rentals $25. Houseboat required $500 security deposit.

·         Will my car insurance cover the boat? It depends on your individual insurance provider. Most insurance providers will cover rental cars but not necessarily rental boats. Contact your provider for specific details.

·         Do the boats have covers? Yes, most do. The only boats we do not offer bimini tops on are the 18' runabouts and Waverunners.

·         Do they have restrooms on them? The 32' party cruiser, 35' party yacht and houseboat all are equipped with restrooms.

·         Is gas included? The renter is responsible for the amount consumed.

·         Do the boats have radios, cd players and aux port? Yes.

·         Do you provide life jackets? Yes, the boats are supplied with all required safety equipment.

·         How old do you have to be to rent a boat? 21 years old.

·         On average, how much gas does the boat use? It is nearly impossible to quote an average fuel consumption because there are so many variables to consider (Usage, weight, water conditions, wind speed etc.).

·         Do I need a fishing license and do you sell them? A fishing license is required. You can obtain one at a local store, or Walmart or K-mart nearest you.

·         Where are the low areas of the lake? The water depth depends on the time of year as rainfall varies periodically. One of the dock hands will go over this information with you at the time of the rental.

·         Can I bring alcohol on the boat? Yes, For private rentals Dinner and Themed cruises (No). There is no open container law, but remember, DUI laws are the same on the water as they are on land.

·         Are there any additional costs? There is a charge for entering Lake Lanier Island. The admission is $10 per automobile Refueling, insurance, additional staff, services, additional equipment and damages are the responsibility of the renter.

·         Will a pontoon pull a skier? No, but they are fantastic for Tubing.

·         What else do I need to bring?  We always recommend you bring a fully charged cell phone in case of emergencies.  Snacks, drinks, ice, sunscreen, towels, water toys for casual boat rentals. Check the weather on the day of your event and dress accordingly.

Are there nearby hotels that we can stay in?
Yes, there are quite a few hotels for you to choose from. Generally, we suggest hotels near The Mall of Georgia or the Gwinnett Mall for Lake Lanier. However, we will be more than happy to assist with lodging for your group. Transportation for group can also be arranged.
