i'm not on here looking for love just to meet some cool, laidback, intelligent people.

i haven't been on black planet in three years. i come back and see a lot has changed. this site has come a long way. being gone so long, i lost a lot of friends i have made thru this site. i don't even know where to start. i want to thank God for all the blessings that i have received and the blessings to come. from my experiences i've learned that you live and learn. without learning, no one can achieve success, success stops when you do. our eyes are placed in front because it is more important to look ahead than to look back. when the door of happiness closes, another one opens but oftentimes we look so long at the CLOSED DOOR that we don't see the one which has been opened for us. giving someone all your love is never an assurance they'll love you back. don't go for looks; they can deceive. don't go for wealth; even that fades away.the best way to keep love is to give it wings. don't dismiss your dreams. don't give up on the ones you love. don't give up when you have something to give and the last thing, look with your eyes and see what you been missing.

i'm doing me at the moment because God is still working on "HIM". so until that day comes i will continue to do me and play the game how it goes and live life to the fullest. The kind of guy i like is rare or doesn't exist these days it seems like or we just haven't met yet, or he is in my presence and i don't know it yet, but the RIGHT one WILL FIND ME
*some real talk* people are not yo-yos. drop them, and they may not return. hearts are fragile... handle with care. learn the difference between a date, soulmate, playmate and your lifemate . there is a difference between i like you, i lust you and i love you. marrying for money is a high price to pay. you can change the labels on a bottle, but it doesn't change it's content. life can change without your permission. to lose patience is to lose the battle. anxiety and fear strips away courage and makes a productive life impossible. doubt makes decisions feel difficult, destroys your faith and causes procrastination. anger steals your peace, destroys your health and repels relationships. frustration makes you become a quitter, a whiner and stressful. guilt makes it impossible to enjoy any successes you achieve. jealousy and envy create dishonesty, hate and corruption. a lack of emotional boundaries allows the drama makers, controlling, demanding, needy and toxic people to consume your energy, joy, peace and time. sorrow looks back, worry looks around, but faith looks up. today is a gift, that's why it's called the present. if you want to feel rich, just count all the blessings money can't buy. words don't express your love, you gotta prove it.
