I Just want to tell you a little about myself. I'm older then most of you on the Planet. So you might say I been around. I was married to one man for 43 years,from 1964 to 2007 something thats not heard of much these days. Some of you weren't even born when we got married.So believe me when I say I've seen some stuff. I grew up in an era when we were fortunate enough to be "priviledge" to have our Drinking Faucets Marked (Colored) where when we went to a restaurant We weren't allowed to go in the Dining area. There was a big Picnic Table sat up in the Kitchen, where the food was being prepared, That's as far as we were allowed to go.We had our own Schools, Bath Rooms even our own waiting rooms at Southern Pacific Train Station, Grey Hound and Trailaway Bus Station. We were so special that when we were admitted into a Hospital we were placed in the Colored Ward, meaning there might be 8 to 10 beds in one room. If we were in the Super Market and there were whites there we had to wait, until they were checked out before being helped.Story about Rosa Parks was no lie, I've been on the bus with My Grandmother and if we sat any where above the half way mark on the Bus and a carcausion got on the bus even though there might have been 4 or 5 seats empty we still had to move because that was the white folks area, most time it was just understood all the driver had to do was look at you through the rear view mirrow, you got the message. I was a kid when Emmitt Till was Murdered but I remember it well. They didn't want to be near us,even though we raised their kids, cleaned their houses and cooked their meals, some child bearing women even Breast fed their Babies. I also remember when Dr.King Marched on Selma. Dogs was turned a loose on our people also they used Fire Hoses to keep us from marching, When Governor George Wallace blocked the doors of the school so as not to let the black Kids enter. And less not forget those whites that were there supporting the civil rights movement. Who can forget white New Yorkers Michael Schwerner, 24, and Andrew Goodman, 20, who were killed by klansmen in Nashoba County, Miss., as they, along with James Chaney, a 21-year-old black Mississippian, went to investigate the burning of a black church? They had spent the day registering black voters.Rita Schwerner, Michael Schwerner's wife, already had spent six months organizing in Mississippi the day her husband was killed. The fate of Viola Gregg Liuzzo, a mother of five, who traveled from her Michigan home to the South to help blacks on the frontline, still pains those who knew her. On March 25, 1965, an Alabama klansman fired a .38-caliber pistol through the window of Liuzzo's car, killing her instantly. Thousands of other white women worked for black freedom. Anyone who cares to learn more can read Deep in Our Hearts: Nine White Women in the Freedom Movement, published in 2000 by the University of Georgia Press. Another book, Debra L. Schultz's Going South: Jewish Women in the Civil Rights Movement, demonstrates the singular courage of women driven to the cause by a sense of morality and social justice. Atlanta novelist Lillian Smith told of an anonymous letter she received threatening her life if she spoke about racism to a group of white students. Virginia Durr, an early supporter of the sit-in movement in Atlanta, learned the hard way about the hazards of standing up for human rights. Many white ministers risked everything for the cause, and thousands of white students, some marching and others joining the Freedom Riders, ventured into some of the most violent places in the free world. Even while the klan was labeling McGill as "Southern-enemy-number-one," he wrote editorials, columns and essays and gave speeches that indicted the Old Confederacy. "Persons who disagreed poured garbage on his lawn, made abusive telephone calls, sent threatening letters, demonstrated outside his office, and shot holes in his mailbox and window," writes Calvin M. Logue, editor of No Place to Hide: The South and Human Rights, two volumes McGill's I could write my own Book. Well getting away from that I'm here strickly for friends, communicating with different people learning from them, When I first went on I thought there might be a chance I'd meet somebody that I maybe could become close enough with that we could go to a movie,maybe treat each other to Dinner occasionally. But I see I was dreaming big time. I find that most of these sites are what I would call a Joke.First of all I'm a Christian, I'm not religious, but I love the Lord.He is the Head of my life. I love to have fun I don't drink but will have a occasionally glass of Wine on special occasions. I'm not in to Drugs of any kind let me clarify that since some people seem to think Marijuana isn't a drug,but a "Herb". I don't smoke it either. I live a quite life mostly , I love to cook,Go to the beach, thanks goodness I'm only about 10 mins. drive away. I go to my Church services on a regular basis. I walk Go to movies, I love Music most kinds, not to crazy about Rap. Favorites are Jazz, Gospel, Blues, Hip Hop, Classical, Country western, Reggae in that order. I have Grown Children, Grandkids and some Greats.Love them all. There are Pictures of them on my Slide. I have lots of Interest.Love Animals, Nature,and space photos. Are you one of the lucky Women or shall I say Blessed Women, That have a Man that is bring home the Bacon, or is at least attempting to. If you do, Lady hold on to that Man with all you got. And thank God for him.And if you are one of the Sisters that have to bring in the whole hog by your lonsome.Then I'll say my hat is off to you. It's so very hard for one to be the soul bread winner now, with the economy being what it is. Banks failing, Jobs folding, Companies failing.This World is having a famine, I heard just today that we are having a severe water shortage here in California, you might ask what's all that got to do with me ? Glad you asked. Just think for a minute, How important is water  ? 2/3rds  of the body  is water. and the Earth is covered  2/3rds by water look at the Globe. OK,  but can you drink it  ? would it be good for crops, cattle, fowl just to name a few things. If there's no Fresh water crops wont grow, our cattle will die, the fowls will die, it means more jobs lost ,stores closing you see where I'm going. Ladies and Gentleman we need to pray like never before. The Bible speaks or the things we are seeing now. And guess what ? we are  seeing the Scriptures being fulfilled. Wars and Rumors of wars, nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. And then the Bible say the end is not yet, this is the BEGINNING of sorrows. I remember when the women stayed home and took care of the Children and house ,the Men had the 9 to 5:00s, but those days are gone forever, now it takes two paychecks and even then it's tough,  and if you have children  I hope you are a pray warrior.  The only thing we have to look to  is"God". At least that's what keeps my sanity and stability. So If you don't know how to bring home the Bacon and and don't know how to pray I suggest you learn  ASAP.God Bless you

Let me start by saying there are many reasons for a broken heart. It can be caused by the death of a loved one or pet, break up, or ending of a relationship. Loosing someone or something dear to you. Whatever the reason the feeling that it creates are the about the same. Here are a few words that describe how one might feel, Pick your word: anguished, bemoaning, bewailing, deploring, doleful, dolorous, funeral, grieving, heartbroken, lamentable, lugubrious, plaintive, regretful, rueful, sorrowful, sorry, wailing, weeping, woeful elegiac, melancholy; dejected, rejected, depressed, despondent, disconsolate, dispirited, downcast, downhearted, heartsick, inconsolable; careworn, sad, unhappy, woebegone; bawling, crying, groaning, howling, keening, moaning, yammering; bleeding, suffering; black, bleak, cheerless, comfortless, dark, darkening, desolate, dismal, dreary, funereal, gloomy, glum, gray (also grey), joyless, low, miserable, moody, morbid, morose, pathetic, pessimistic, piteous, saturnine, somber (or sombre), sullen, wretched Think of any bad feeling that you could have and  there's a word that might describe how you're feeling, and you find yourself saying I wouldn't wish this on my worse enemy. Now the big question is what do I do now ? Well for me getting out of the house was first, being around friends people that loved me and made sure I stayed busy. If you are a Christian don't let the enemy talk to you tell you that God doesn't care and keeping you from your Church, even if you were slack in going before,  this is no time to loose Faith, because the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy. Believe me, this is the time he wants to steal your Faith, Kill your Joy and even you  if he can get your mind, he wants to destroy you. So if you have strong Christian Friends and a Word teaching Church and Pastor "Move in the Church" everytime the doors open you be there, If not find a church where the Word is taught, and if you are depressed go talk to your Pastor, and you might benefit seeing your Dr. let him know what you're feeling, you might need a light sedative or Anti-depressant to help you get through this. Read your Bible everyday and Pray, eat healthy meals, exercise and remember this will pass, you are not going to feel like this the rest of your life. God loves you and I'M sure there's others that care about you. Do not isolate yourself. Go for walks to the Movies, Treat yourself to a Nice Dinner, be good to yourself get youself a Pedicure and Manicure, if your money's funny invite a coupe of your friends over and give each other a manicure and pedicure, you'll be surprised how much fun you'll have. Do things you've always wanted to do ,Go to Palm Springs ,San Diego zoo what ever pleases you. I found myself up at 1:30 in the morning making a Pound Cake, that I had been wanting to make for ever, but never took the time, I must say it was delicious, the next day I invited a couple of Friends over, Made a big Salad and served Pound cake for desert. Friends loved it, and thought my story was very funny. The Bible says if you need joy leap for it, so I say make yourself happy, No one should  be responsible for your happiness, and if you're looking for some one else to make you happy, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you may as well give up. Believe me, what I'm telling you, I had to learn the hard way. Nobody warned me So I was miserable for a long time. I hope this helps some one if it helps one Person then I will feel blessed. We have all gone through times of loneliness, when we felt we were all alone. Even though there might have been lots of people around.I know I certainely have.You that have not been there keep on living.God did not mean for us to be alone,He says in his word that "It's not good for Man to be alone" And we all no the story from there, even when He decided to send the flood, He asked that two of everything be brought aboard the Ark.Which tells me that it was not his intention for anything to be alone. Even Christ was not alone, he had 12 Disciples plus numerous followers. I can remember my Grandma used to say there is a sock for every old shoe. Meaning that there's somebody out there for you no matter how you look, if you are a plus size or Petite,Black like Coal,or white like Snow, Ugly as sin or beautiful as the morning sunrise, now remember Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.I might think he is the most Handsome man on earth,and to you he looks like King Kong, and so it goes. But that's the reason God made us all different no two people are the same, there's going to be something that different even when we have what we call Identical twins something distinguishes them from each other. So the next time you are out and you see a couple and wonder "what did he see in her"? remember this piece.
