Not only do I believe that we learn not for school, but for life, but I also believe: 1. Happiness is not a destination. It is methodical and intentional. 2. All things can be done through Christ! Hello Black Planet! I am female, 40+, bi-continental, black American by birth global citizen by choice. I am here on this site to meet thinkers, the business minded, bloggers, and creative entrepeneurs across American for the sole intention of networking and support. I have 18+ years experience working in the fashion industry from New York City to Milan Italy and currently freelance as a book editor for German publications and organizations who cross translate to English, specifically for the music and advertising industries. When I'm not shooting for private clients' PR projects or fashion catalogs, I am active in my church, enjoying life with my wonderful husband, or teaching English in Europe to kindergardeners in my spare time. In my home, interests begin and end with Christ and our spiritual enrichment, with everything from music, art, travel, photography, cooking, gardening and sailing in between. Here on Black Planet I am looking to connect and network with people of similar interests from those aspiring in their chosen profession or interests, to those already well established on their path. I do not discriminate based on a person's income level or social position in society rather than focus on if they are sound mind, heart and spirit, with clarity of purpose in their lives.
