FREE NOVA

Jeremy Jester, AKA Nova Kidd A.K.A. NOVA, is currently incarcerated for a crime that he committed at the age of 17. He was with an adult at the time of the incident. He was held over in a juvenile detention center until he turned 18 so that he could be tried as an adult.

The judge wanted to make an example out of Jeremy. So the judge sentenced Jeremy to 60 years with no possibility of parole. His Lawyer, Kenneth L. Lawson, did not properly represent J and was, one year later, disbarred for admitting that he was addicted to and under the influence of heavy painkillers while representing many of his clients!

The crime perpetrated by Jeremy was a bad crime, but the sentence given to him was excessive to say the least. Jeremy did not have a violent history and did not have a police record prior to this incident.

The judicial system is set up to penalize African-Americans and all other non-whites and the poor. Those who are unable to pay tens of thousands of dollars for a decent lawyer are subject to the rules of an UNEQUAL, PREJUDICE, and GODLESS judicial system. You know something is wrong when murderers are out free because they have the resources to pay for lawyers, but those who aren't financially able are subject to excessive and cruel punishment!!!!!!!!

Similar to the JENA 6 situation, there are countless African-American males who are jailed for excessive amounts of time.
