Raised in Connecticut and the streets of New York, Dee Ukon grew up doing alot of bad things like most. But he was always good at one thing though, his words. In 1998 Dee Ukon was a signed recording artist and was thought to be on his way to the top of the NYC mix tape arena, but things quickly changed in life shortly after his brother passed away and took along his passion for music with him. Dee would go on to spend many years working for various labels and mainstream recording artist as an Executive Protection Specialist. But soon began bothered by the direction Hip Hop was headed. "I got sick of niggas getting on tracks making millions talking grimey and then hiding behind cats like me for protection, thats what forced me to say %#&@$! it and return to life in the basement".. Now almost 13 years later, Dee Ukon is back in the lab working hard on recreating the magic. This time around he is taking the executive route by running operations for the Cartel Music Group, LLC. an imprint of SMLG/Bungalo Records, which is internationally distributed by Universal Music Group..
