Masonry vs. Freemasonry: which one is original ?
" The correct definition of a mason is one who builds or works with stone or brick. These men were members of a guild of skilled itinerant professionals during the middles ages.There are two types of Masonry as seen by the Fraternity: #1 Speculative Masonry #2 Operative Masonry-Speculative Masonry is more so theoretical, not established by demonstration. A prime Example of this teoretical concept is the usage of the tools of a stone mason to create allusions of their usage for self improvement. Operative Masonry is the actual application of the the tools of a stone mason to perform physical work.

The following is the Life and history of Hon. Elijah Muhammad
(messanger of Allah) as told from the mouth of Elijah and also taught by his followers. The Honorable Elijah Muhammad was born Elijah Poole on October 10, 1897in Sandersville, Georgia, not many mile from his hometown where he grew up in Macon, Georgia. His mothers' name was Marie, and she was married to a Baptist minister, Reverend Poole, who worked around Sandersville, on the farm, and around the sawmill. Messenger Muhammad had a huge family, he was the seventh child out of a family of thirteen. His paternal grandfather gave him the name "Elijah" and always addressed him as "Elijah the Prophet". As a child, little Elijah was very different when he walked and talked, he began to sho leadership traits. The small frail boy usually settled his older
brother's and sister's disputes, and young as he was, he became regarded by them as their leader. By the time Elijah entered school he began displaying a strong race consciousness. After the third grade, because the family was poor and had economical problems, Elijah had to quit school and begin full time working. His older sister taught Elijah as much as she was able at night. Little Elijah as a child would spend his hours peering though the bible, with tears shining in his eyes. As a boy he felt that the bibles, words were a locked door, that could be unlocked if only he knew how, and he cried because of his frustrated anguish to receive understanding. Elijah later became a Mason as many
young men of the south are, and around age 26, he was a foreman over a crew of men much older than he was. He worked in 1923, in Macon, Georgia, for the Southern Railroad Company and Cherokee Brick Company as a foreman and builder.
The Ancient Moors and The Moorish Science Temple Of America They were great soldiers and there are evidence of Moorish soldiers
as early as 406 B.C.. There were even moors in the roman military, in
fact, black soldiers who were identified as moors, actively were

from Africa in what is now called Romania, and auxiliary troops in that
same area. Early in the 8th century after a grim and extended resistance
to Arab invasions to North Africa, the moors joined the triumph and surge
of Islam and after this; they crossed over the Iberian Peninsula. They
crossed over to Spain and Portugal, where their swift victories and
remarkable feats soon became the substance of legends. It is here that we understand that black people moved to places in ancient times without
shackles and chains on their hands and feet. Our history does not begin
in the cotton fields in little Dixie, with "Massa" and "Miss Ann".
In 1905, Noble Drew Ali met an Egyptian, Dr. Suliaman,
and invited him to come back to the United States with him. In 1910, Drew
Ali joined the Pullman Porters Union. By 1913, he had also become a high level Shriner and a member of the Grotto. It was in that year that he
started his first temple called the Canaanite Temple, with Dr. Suliaman.
The original name of Noble Drew Alis' Movement was the Moorish National and Divine Movement, but was soon changed to Moorish Science Temple of America. At that time, Drew Ali was known as Professor Drew the Egyptian Adept.
If this does not explain to you Moors that each and every man is God,
then apparently there is a lack of inability to comprehend. I, Allah Jihad, am one with Allah and Allah is one with me and in your Holy Koran page 17 #22 & 23 backs me up: "When man sees Allah as one with him, as Father Allah he needs no middle man, no priests to intercede. " but in his image man was made, and he who looks into the face of man, looks at the image of ALLAH who speaks within. And when man honors man, he honors ALLAH, and what man does for man, he does for Allah, and you must 'bear in mind that when man harms in thought or word or deed another man, he does wrong to Allah'. If you would serve Allah who speaks within the heart, just serve your near of kin, and those who are no kin, the stranger at your gates, the foe who seeks to do you harm.".
Around 1913 Noble Drew Ali was a Shriners and allegedly to be a member of the Grotto. This is where he gets the name 'Noble' from. Because the Shriners are 'Ancient Noble of the Mystic Shrine' and Shriners refer to one another as noble. He also adapted the red fez with the black tassel from the Shriners, such as the one Elijah Muhammad wore, who was also a Freemason from the south. In every picture and meeting, Noble Drew Ali was always dressed with the attire of the 'Shriners'. He wore a dark suit, dark shoes, collar and necktie, sometimes a white robe and a sash. The Shriners call their lodges "temples", which is also used by Noble Drew Ali in naming his movement, Moorish Science Temple. The Shriners also claim initiations from the Grand Sheik (Sheik) of Mecca wore red fezzes, and sported Star and Crescent regalia. Another name that Noble Drew Ali used by the Shiners is 'Sheik' and Star and Crescent regalia.
