The City of Cincinnati's Planning Commission is in the process of approving 32 revisions to the Zoning Code that will limit the number, type and location of non-profit organizations, faith-based groups and church services throughout every neighborhood in the city of Cincinnati. Please mark your calendar and plan to attend a Special Public Meeting on Tuesday February 10, 5:30PM at City Hall to voice your opinion regarding these changes. At Tuesday's meeting the Planning Commission will review and listen to public feedback on the 32 proposed revisions to the current Zoning Code. These proposed changes will regulate social services, non-profits, churches and other faith-based group more stringently than any other type business in the City of Cincinnati. If approved, non-profits, churches and other organization will not be able to add new programs, expand or build new structures without a costly and lengthy approval process by the Director of Planning of the City of Cincinnati. This new policy would: Severely limit the size and location of non-profit facilities and churches that provide outreach services Reduce the number of programs and services that can be operated at one agency or religious organization, eliminate the use of the term "social service facility" Prohibit and restrict the location non-profit agencies and services to the impoverished within certain neighborhoods. These amendments and others would make it much harder for social service agencies to help Cincinnati's most vulnerable citizens, namely sick people, poor people, senior citizens and people with disabilities. During tough economic times, let's not hurt those, who need the help the most. What can be done? Attached are the Proposed Text Amendments to the Zoning Code, a summary of the proposes zoning codes and few generic talking points. Please plan to arrive at City Hall at 5:00PM, fill out a speaker's card, you will be permitted to speak for 5 minutes. Contact Planning Commission and City Council members and voice your concern against the passage of these text amendments. Please share this email and information with others. Make your voice be heard *****************HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE ****************************** *********** Please join me along with the Cincinnati Super Choir at WDBZ's Black Book Fair on February 7th, 10-5 p.m. Freedom Center in downtown Cincinnati. Sunday, January 4, 2009 (Special thanks to Thebellereport.net) If you are going to the 2009 Inauguration . . . . . Officials are expecting record breaking crowds in Washington, DC for the 2009 Inauguration and getting around the region throughout the four-day weekend will be challenging. Parking is limited in the city, so the best way to get to the inaugural events will be by public transportation. Everyone will need a lot of patience and should be prepared to wait in long lines. You should purchase your Metro fare in advance to save time. Be sure to have enough fare value on your SmarTrip card or farecard to make a round trip.

January 3, 2009 "I know I've never experienced exactly what you're feeling now . . .but please know that others share your pain. Call me if you need to . . .I promise to do the best I can to understand." Homegoing Services for Barbara "Bobbie" Reece were held today at the New Friendship Baptist Church. It was a glorious "Homegoing" celebration. Remember to keep her family and friends lifted in prayer. Our condolences go out to her husband; Deacon Steve Reece, her children; former Vice Mayor; Alicia Reece her sister Tiffany and brother, Steve, Jr.
Great word, from the Man of God!! Powerful praise and worship went forth . . . the Praise Dancers were dancing (all 40 of them, including the children) . . .the choir (in their matching dresses, shirts and ties) was singing and moving like the Temptations, the musicians were "tight" and with a 60 SECOND COUNT DOWN ON THE (2) JUMBO SCREENS . . .. hundreds of balloons dropped at midnight!!
YESSSSSS!!! God is just gooood like THAT!!!

HAPPY TUESDAY!!!
THE LAST TUESDAY IN 2008!!!
It's my son's; Parrish Newbolt's 38th birthday!!!! I remember it like it was yesterday . . .OUCH!! LOL . . . .HAPPY, HAPPY DHHHALING. MOMMEE LOVES YOU MUCHHH!! Tomorrow will be the first New Year's Eve, I did not have to work with the ALL STAR band. My 10-piece show band. While I will miss the pay, I look forward to spending a Hallelujah GOOD TIME with the Saints who know how to make a JOYFUL NOISE at MIDNIGHT as they bring in the New Year. I plan to bring in the New Year with the Saints at Word of Deliverance. With my dear friends Bishop Bobby and First Lady Valda Hilton. The last time I was in church, on New Year's Eve, the Saints were praying in the New Year, very quietly . . . and whispering to each other . . . "happpy nnew yearr" shhhhh . . . Whispers is the midst of fireworks and gun shots being fired outside, in the night. They got up off their knees, they sang one song, hugged and went home . . ..OHHH the dissapointment that flooded my soul!! I promised myself . . .this will "nevvv--vaa" happen again. So, needless to say, as I called around to my many friends, I asked the question . ."and exactly how do you and your church bring in the New Year??" One day I will share the responses. GOD HAS BEEN TOO GOOD!! And I refuse to let the World make MORE noise than me . . .NO sirrreee!! THERE IS A JOYFUL NOISE IN MY SPIRIT . . .a DANCE ON THE INSIDE . . . AND I'M LOOKING FOR SAINTS WHO KNOW HOW TO GIVE HIM GLORY AND PRAISE!!!! My prayer for you . . . . MAY TODAY BE ALL YOU NEED IT TO BE . . . May your joys be fulfilled, your dreams be closer and your prayers be answered. In 2009, may the peace of God and the freshness of the Holy Spirit rest in your thoughts, rule in your dreams tonight and conquer all of your fears. Remember God loves YOU! And, I love you too!! We both believe you are very special. Be blessed,
P. Ann
P.S. I think we can squeeze in one more volleyball game before the end of 2008. See you at the "Y". Eat right, MOVE right . . LIVE RIGHT!!! ______________________________ ______________________ Dhallingg . . .thanks for stopping by.

Ann Everson Price House of Joy Christian Ministries Gospel Radio Host for: 100.3 FM The MOJO - www.WMOJ.com Sundays, 8-12 noon Mon. - Fri., 3:00-7:00 p.m. 1230AM - WDBZ.com - www.1230AMWDBZ.com
I know it was ordained by God . . . . and "divinely timed". My friends Eddie and Annette Love invited my husband, Eddie and I to a dinner party. Guess where they live? Directly across the street from the church!!! After stopping there briefly around 9:15 p.m. I had more than enough time to partake of the greens, mac and cheese, c/bread, bar-b-cued wings and sweet potatoe pie . . . .. before heading over for service at 10:00 p.m.
Ohh yeahhhh . . .I was at the RIGHT PLACE!!
With the Saints dressed in their finery; tailored suits and sequined dresses and furs . . .to jeans and cowboy boots, the Word of Deliverance Family Life Center was packed . . . .the main floor and the balcony.
The New Year's Eve Praise Party at W.O.D. was "unbelievable".  ; All I hoped for . . . and then some!!
My evening started early at 7:00 p.m. with my daughter and her husband and 2 kids at their church "Courts of Praise". The service, was very nice. . . which included a musical.
