I have been a member of BP for a very long time.. Since 2001... I decided today (10/12/11) to change my personal message. I haden't changed it since 2005...

A little about me:
I travel for pleasure not for work, and NO I have never been in the military, lol :)
I have circumvented the globe numerous times, in over 52 trips abroad. I started as a child taking three-month road trips each summer with my late Grandfather, Hosea Goodwin, covering 22 US states, Canada and Mexico before I was 14 years old. By the time I was 30 years old, I had visited approximately 32 US (contiguous) states and had set my eyes on Hawaii.
It wasn't however... until after my 31st birthday did I finally fly to Hawaii for a simple two-day trip; taking the bus from the airport at a cost of $7.00, to my tiny hotel room at The Maile Sky Court Hotel. Later that year, I received a call from a friend who asked if I wanted to take a trip to Rio de Janeiro Brazil. Of course I agreed, and was on my way within days. On the plane ride from Miami to Sao Paulo Brazil, my trusted friend leaned over from the seat next to me, and said: "Hey Theo, by the way, we have no hotel reservations... But don't worry about it, this is how I travel."
We hit the ground running, found a hotel within six hours at the Ipanema Inn, and from that point forward, I have covered five continents, 19 countries, and countless cities in over 52 trips abroad.
I have been Divorced for about 16 years, and those that know me from BP, know that I raised my kids as a Single Father from 2 & 3 years old. Both are now in college, so I have much more free time on my hands hahahahaha. Also, I don't logon to BP as much as I do FB, lol so if it takes me a moment to get back, I apologize :).
