There are two great aspects about me. I am a Pastor and I own a Christian Holy Hip Hop Radio Station. First I want to talk about the Radio Station. Crunk 4 Christ Radio is the Hottest Christian Radio program in the nation. With a strong desire to bring more exposure to Holy Hip Hop, we offer the hottest music in Holy Hip Hop 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
OUR MISSION: We are in a time now, where our youth and young adults are in trouble. They are seeking role models, but many of the artists they have attached themselves to are not always positive influences. These secular Hip Hop and Rap Artists fail to realize that their conduct is just as important as their music. A large amount of these artists are being arrested, breaking the law, doing drugs and pushing sex. Our young people are in trouble, and we are giving them an alternative with a mission "To uniquely change the way that people see and hear the church."
OUR METHOD: Now with a live interactive studio audience, The Crunk Morning Show with Hosts P Crunk, Da Dre, and Liz Yancey, and the recent new addition from BET's Comic View Small Fire (once known as Small Fry) is taking our radio station into a new realm of funny, deep and real. This is truly Christian radio at its hottest peak. The Crunk Morning Show airs Monday-Friday from 6:00am - 10:00am. God has truly anointed Pastor Calvin McCoy (P Crunk), LeAndre Dabney (Da Dre), and Liz Yancey (Liz Yancey) for such a time like this. The Crunk Morning Show is not afraid to touch any subject, because there are many relevant issues in the Christian Community that need to be discussed. And we are the first Christian Radio Morning Show on Television with a live studio audience, reaching over 2 Million homes across the United States through GloryStar Satellite Network. And now with our Morning Radio Show going on Comcast starting November 22, 2010, we will be going into 300,000 Homes in Georgia!!
Now About Me:
Yo, what's up, it's your boy P Crunk, from the Crunk Morning Show I need to tell you a little about myself. My born identity is Calvin McCoy Jr. I am also the Pastor of Hope For Tomorrow Deliverance Center in Stone Mountain, GA. I was born on December 06, 1978, in Benton Harbor, Michigan to Pastor Calvin McCoy Sr. and Prophetess Flossie Perry. I was raised and brought up on the teachings of Jesus Christ. At the age of 11, Calvin McCoy Jr. accepted Jesus Christ into his life and was baptized. At this time in my life I was a young boy, singing in the choir and excited about God. I was a member of Saints Fellowship Mission. C.O.G.I.C., Pastor Charles Chapman. At the age of 15, I moved with my family to Atlanta, Georgia, which is where I reside now.
I am not afraid to be real with you. From my teenage years up until that age of 22, I experienced life in the world. I went through my season of being disobedient, and answering the call of my flesh. But because of God's mercy, God kept me. At the age of 22, I went through some serious life changing experiences, including prison. From this point of my life, I rededicated my life to Christ, and began my journey to please God. While in my place of training, God delivered me from a homosexual lifestyle, and began using me to teach, sing and motivate other men to serve God. In 2004, I was licensed by my father, Pastor Calvin McCoy Sr., as a Minister, under Bishop Williams, Church of God in Christ. Still in my place of training, I began leading the men in prison, and showing them by example of how God can change a man's life completely around. And because of my obedience to God, He began to bless me substantially.
In 2005, God began to pour the vision for Hope for Tomorrow Ministries into my spirit, and as the vision came I wrote it down and waited for God to bring it to pass. In 2006, I was licensed by my Father Calvin McCoy Sr. as an Elder, under Bishop Bogan, Church of God in Christ. On October 17, 2006 I began establishing Hope For Tomorrow Ministries through E-Ministry, speaking engagements, the "Crunk For Christ Youth and Young Adult Conference", and many other outlets God has opened up.
In January 2009, I was lead by the Holy Spirit, to make a major transition. Leaving the covering of Bishop C.E. White, and the Apostolic doctrine, being led by the spirit of God, is now in the Fellowship of the Church Of God in Christ. Under Superintendent J. Hogan, and Jurisdictional Bishop C. Owens. This transition has been great and we look forward to the growth, support, and love of this great organization. I have a true and sincere heart for the people of God. I am a transparent leader and I am concerned about the souls and hearts of the people. I am a man that hears from God, and speaks the truth, whether we like it or not. I stand on the word of God, speaks only what God says to say, and is accurate with God's prophetic word. God has truly anointed me to do this work of the ministry. I am a great leader, a great Pastor, and a great Angel over all has given me in this season.
