Recently I watched a documentary of the life styles of African Americans called Black In America and it made me completely re-evaluate who I am and what is to become of me as young black lady living in America. While everything from static statistics to the cliche conditions of our people did not surprise me, as I myself have endured the calamities of being black, a few things did.
