Represents the GREED that creeps up when I'm
running from it,
Acts as the backbone which keeps me afloat in
my ocean of tears,
Lives on a street named "The World Is Not Ready",
Shows itself during times I'm coverd in thoughts of feeling
deeply flawed,
Rises to the top, just when I thought I buried it deep
within my soul,
Keeps my lips from having a love affair with
FREEDOM,
Says I know your SECRETS, and they are safe with
me,
Takes me on a journey like an UNWILLING passenger...yet I'm
packed for the trip,
Tells me everything I need to hear, because of the LIES I've
told myself,
Accompanies me to places as an UNINVITED guest,
Continues to remind me that as long as my heart beats, I
can't ESCAPE it,
Jumbles up my words to create a story I want to tell to no
one,
Strips me NAKED every time I attempt to A-ddress
her,
Is always present without my permission, with no plans to
ask for it,
Knows this woman like no other person on earth, and ACCEPTS
me as is...
