When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives means the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving much advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a gentle and tender hand. The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares.
Hello my name is Rodney and I want to thank you for dropping in and taking a little of your time to check out my page. I hope you enjoy what I have decided to write and may it impact you as it has me over the years. Some of them are my own and some I have either read or heard others use. I look back over my life and evaluate all I have done. There has been some high points and low ones. I have loved and been in love. Seen and done things that have made me proud and for which I have lowered my head in shame. But throughoutall these things I have used them to make myself what I am today. I can look in the mirror and smile at what I see. When I interact with others I can hold my head up high and not have to bow to any man or woman unless I choose to. It is just so amazing how quickly time has passed. It seems like only yeaterday that I graduated from Highschool and joined the Army. I went out and saw a great deal of the world and made friends not only throughout the country but all over the world
