Explanation of Platinum_Skills:

I am just a thick chic that is caramel brown. Guys are not always appreciative of a thick women. We get called names and turned down. I have been this size or smaller since middle school. I was a "C" cup at the age of 13 now I am a "FF" maybe bigger. LOL. I have always had a butt but after the birth of my daughter....she gave me a "phat %#&@$!". lol. Now, the mid-section, hey after 3 kids, come on, I am not a health food fanatic and no exercise guru. But it ain't nothing that lipsuction can't handle or a good girdle. LOL. Thought, I would make you laugh.....I have a great sense of humor too.

So here I am voluptous woman in everyway....take it or leave it. I saw what the world was like at a early age and how especially black men treat women like me. So therefore, I had to build up my own self esteem.

I feel good about me and I love me....bottom line !!!!!!

Platinum is a precious metal that is more valuable than gold. Skills is an art, techinique, craft, something that you do.

Well, combined the two together and you have me.

I give more than 100% of myself to my family and friends. I am a old fashioned girl with morals and values. I am a people pleaser. I love to take care of people that's why I am going to continue my path to nursing. I love people and I love life.

I try to be a good stranger, friend, co-worker, mother and family member. I like to keep a clean house, keep my personal hygiene on point, cook, etc etc.

I have MAGNIFICIENT bedroom skills as well.

I will take care of my man or my gentleman friend when he is having a good day or bad day.

I try to display class, style and concern with EVERYTHING that I do and touch.

So therefore, I present to you....ME....aka Platinum_Skills !!!!

Update: 02/15/09 - Hey Ya'll...what's the damn deal? We got a BLACK President !!!! Did ya'll see your girl getting her classy on? I attended the Inaugural Ball at the House of Blues in Houston, TX. Check out my pics. As far as President Obama...Continue to uplift him, his family and his administration in prayer. I just want everyone to know that I am ok. Sept 2008 was very hard for me. My kids and family SHOWED me just that the hell they thought of me and I had a court battle on my hands which I am proud to say was DISMISSED Feb 12,2009..THANK YOU JESUS. But the real tee hee hee was I lost my apartment thanks to Hurricane Ike the following weekend. I was homeless for 3 weeks. I tell you doing that time, God revealed to me who was my FRIENDS. But again, I am ok now. It was just a TRIAL and TRIBULATION that I had to deal with at the time and GOD brought me to it and HE brought me through it. Amen !!! I NOW know that I will have to adjust myself to HANDLE things differently and no longer give people POWER over me because SOME PEOPLE will never CHANGE!!! Anyway, guess what I been doing? I was inspired by my girlfriend Betty and took her advice to check out the Quick Weight Loss program...and it works. I have been participating for the past 3 weeks and I have lost a few pounds and inches. But what's funny...my tits and butt seemed like it got a little smaller !!! I was like awww hell no!!! So I decided that I would continue for a few more weeks and that's it. But I will be doing the " I must, I must increase my bust" exercise and wear a butt pad til I finish the program. LOL. I am still single...not dating anyone. So GUYS WITH CURRENT PHOTOS...send me note and get to know your girl. To all of my BP friends, I hope all is well with you and your families. Update: 07/20/08 - Hey BP..got damn it !!!! What's up its your girl...Platinum Skills. It's been a hot %#&@$! minute since I have updated my profile. Caught up in life. But I am here to tell you what's been up. First of all and most important...I have still not returned to my ex. Better off being friends and parents to our daughter. In celebration of him walking out on us over a year and a half ago...a day before my 35th birthday...I decided to do it big. I took my %#&@$! to Hawaii. If you are a friend then you can view the pics. I had a good time despite SOME informalities. I went to a Luau on my birthday, went on a mini cruise, danced at the clubs and hit Waikiki beach in a bathing suit. Yes, damn it. And I looked good too !!! I had lost some more weight so I paraded around Hawaii like a superstar. I had a great birthday. I am not doing the dental and medical benefits anymore. It was a pyramid so I am gonna stop participating in these get rich quick schemes. I am starting to focus more on getting my girls home together, dabbling around in real estate and focus on my kids whom my oldest will be a senior in HS this year. My younger son will be in the 8th so I will have two graduating this year and my little princess who will be starting Pre-K this year. I am just full of life and I am content. I am feeling good and looking good. Profile pic is from 2wks ago and your girl is now in a 18. Yeah buddy !!! I will keep you posted on my weight loss and future endeavors. Update 06/26/07

I have really been needing to update my page but for starters I will let you know that I have been dieting. I know I talked that hot %#&@$! on top of my page about not being a exercise guru and health nut but when the doctor says your cholesteral is high and you are a high risk for diabetes and heart disease....a %#&@$! listened. So for the last month or so I have been working out at Bally's and dieting. I am proud to announce to you that I have lost over 15 lbs, a number of inches and I have went down 2 dress sizes. Ain't I still sexy damn it....plus size and all, huh !!! LOL. But I am still gonna keep exercising and watch what I eat. I am not all salads so any of you that wants to take me out don't be tripping because I might not order a damn salad. I might want to taste some starch and some grease that particular night hell. Anyway, I went out last night and took a few pictures so check out the up to date pictures of me. (black and white dress)

Update 03/21/07 First of all today is my 35th birthday...so Happy Birthday to me!!!!!!! Secondly, I have changed my relationship status to single. As of yesterday, my 5 year relationship with my daughter's father ended. After all the lies, cheating and abuse.....I stayed.....for the family. But he decided that it was in his best interest to leave his family and myself...a good woman.

What a birthday present, huh ????

Anyway, today is a new beginning for me. I have chatted with alot of you and some conversations were good. So good that it has turned into a beautiful friendship. So that shout out is to SeanJohn832...truly a special person and good friend. Much love to Genuine Negro who is also a good friend. Thanks for listening and encouraging me to keep my head up.

Hmmm, well I'm just now getting on the Blackplanet bandwagon, so I'll just throw a few key points....I'm a down to earth... ride or die chick for my kids, my man and my friends...I love life and I love to have fun. HOW TO HANDLE HATERS: A hater is someone that is jealous and envious and spends all their time trying to make you look small so they can look tall. When you make your mark, you will always attract some haters... That's why you have to be careful who you share your blessings and your dreams with because some folk can't handle seeing you blessed... It's dangerous to be like somebody else... If God wanted you to be like somebody else He would have given you what he gave them. You don't know what people have gone through to get what they have... (The problem I have with haters is that they see my glory, but they don't know my story...) If the grass looks greener on the other side of the fence, you can rest assured that the water bill is higher there too. We've all got some haters among us: Some people don't like it that you can * Come to church * Get your praise on * Bless His Holy Name * Haters don't want to see you happy * Haters don't want to see you succeed * Haters don't want you get the victory Most of our haters are people that are supposed to be on our side. How do you handle the haters who you at least expect to have your guard up against? You can handle your haters by: 1. Knowing who you are & who your true friends are 2. Having a purpose 3. By remembering what you have is by divine prerogative and not human manipulation. Purpose does not mean having a job. You can have a job and still be unfilled. A purpose is having a clear sense of what God has called you to be. Your purpose is not defined by what others think about you. You will always be trying to get stuff because the more stuff you have will improve what others think about you, but what others think will last as long as the stuff last. When God gives you favor, you can tell your haters, "Don't look at me...Look at who is in charge of me... Remember, it ain't about you, but it's all about God.
