Lately, a few lesbian women I know that are married have been talking about their desire for women even after being married for so long. I started to post some videos from Tim Wise (Anti-Racist Activist and Author) who is white (that's important for this post) for some of my friends who think that combination is impossible...white and anti-racist. They would have to look at the videos with their eyes closed or they would not hear a thing. It's funny how ones eyes can prevent one from hearing.

Coming Out... Again
As I woke up this morning, I saw her standing there.
Her skin looked soft and glistened with a hint of sweat.
She walked towards me but I turned towards you.
Her hand caressed my back and whispered in my ear "You know you want me."
Her voice...her breath... the touch of her words against my ear caused one deep breath.
I turned around but there was no one there
... just the wind flowing down from the window above me.

This is one of my favorite songs and videos. I thought this was a lesbian song the first time I heard it. I'd imagine me singing this song to a friend I had a crush on. She had a boyfriend and didn't know I was gay. I'd imagine walking up to her just like Sade approaches the mic in this video, give her that sexy side eye then seduce her into a kiss. My wish came true one weekend home from college...what an amazing weekend that was. Anyway enjoy the video.
