Are You Ready???


...If you don't already know it, ladies and gentlemen, we are most definitely in the last days. Things are happening around here so fast and furious that the return of Christ is IMMINENT. Now more than ever, you really need to know what you believe, Who you believe, and WHY you believe it. You may know that there is a God, or you may not believe it. You may acknowledge Christ, and maybe you don't. But I can guarantee you that on the day you die, all doubt of any type will be removed. God, Who made this world and everything in it, loves the men and women He has created. But we are separated from Him because of our sin nature. You might ask, "If God is so good, why is there so much evil in the world, and why doesn't God do something about it?" Good questions. The answer is twofold. First, when God made the world and got finished with it, it was literally ALL GOOD. Even when He made the man and brought the woman to him, it was still ALL GOOD. But MAN fell in the garden, and when the MAN fell, SIN entered the world, and death by sin. The thing is, God gave man a free will, and He will not override that free will. Now, with the situation that exists, God had to find a way to redeem the man He created, without overriding the authority He gave the man to order his own world. To fulfill that plan, that brings up my second point. GOD sent us JESUS CHRIST, the same Being who, as the WORD, made this world and everything in it (John 1:1-3, Hebrews 1:2). This same Jesus came here and was made the perfect sacrifice for us. This same Jesus came and died for us while we were YET sinners, and in OUR case, before we even knew of His existence. This same Jesus is the ONE and ONLY WAY any of us will see God's face in peace, "For God so LOVED the world, that HE gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in HIM should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16). So NOW, the ONLY way that we can get to Heaven is to cling to, trust in, and rely on JESUS CHRIST and His sacrifice on the cross as our payment for a Holy God's wrath, and as His gift of redemption that is the ONLY thing that makes us right in His sight. My preaching, here on this page and in the "world" in a pulpit, on down in the jail cells, or out on the corners, means nothing if I myself do not cling to Jesus. The works I do are not as important as the faith I have. The money I get (or don't get) is not as important as the faith I have. "What will it profit a man to gain the whole world, and lose his soul?" Quite simply, in everything that I have been through, that you have been through, that your neighbor has been through, the whole thing is, will you believe and trust God or not? Is He who He says He is, or is He lying? And people of faith KNOW that God cannot lie... The faith I have inspires the good works I do; the faith comes BEFORE the works. The faith I have convicts me when I'm out of His will, because the faith helps me believe the Word which says that God is not pleased when we get out of His will, but Loves me enough to give me the grace to get back IN His will. Do YOU want to be in His Will? Then my counsel to YOU is to cling to, trust in, rely on, hope in, hang on to, give your will to, give your respect to, give your obedience to, give your dreams to JESUS and let Him truly be LORD of your life. NOTHING is more important in this life or in eternity. The choice is now yours...
