Stepping out on rainy days always creates a moment of bliss, for me. Inhaling the light mist takes me back to the day my friends and I graduated college. So excited to share our accomplishment with the world, we ran outside (post-ceremony) ? only to be met with a spray of sun showers. Now every time it rains, I?m tempted to go outside and take a deep breath. The sense of a rainy day reminds me that much like graduation, bright days are ahead.

My moment of bliss took place on a warm summer night in August, six years ago, as the moon glistened off the ocean waters, taking a mid-evening stroll, a love that had been dormant for more than 20 years was rekindled. As the warm breeze caressed my face and the sound of the ocean spoke to us, love was reborn in our hearts. Staring into each others eyes and looking into each others soul two life long friends released what had been locked away in a secret place in their hearts. The moon?s light shined with the intensity of a million fluorescent bulbs. The water played a soft medley of I love you with all of my heart and soul. And there in that moment that would change my life forever, I held the hand of the man I would love for eternity. Ever time I smell the breeze of the ocean and see the glistening full moon on the water I am reminded of that time where my heart was engulfed in the emotion I call love.

Bliss....

At the end of a fairly challenging day
I enjoy a bath to wash cares away

I sit in the tub while reading a book
Or close my eyes to a lingering look

At the days events and friends I've seen
As the scent of Suave leaves me feeling clean

And as the water trickles down the drain
I find I'm refreshed and relieved of the strain.

I can definitely say I caught a suprising moment of bliss when I got a divorce. I know probaby would say huh! I say this because I was married for 18 years and for a long time I lived in my ex-husband shadow. I felt like at that time I could not do anything without him and that my world would end if he wasn't in it. I am a mother of 6 and my kids are my world. Every step that I take and every ounce of air that I breathe is for them. I recently almost lost my life due to having to have 8 inches of my intestines removed and a little while longer they could erupted and caused death. Being divorced and surviving and ordeal like that made me realize just how precious life was. I stop feeling sorry for myself and allowed the negative to encourage me to become a better woman, a even better mother. I thought that with a big family life was going to end for us but God showed me a better way and I am empowered and I like to empower other women that feel like because something happens in their lives there is still hope. I am now a businesswoman. My oldest daughter is in college and my second to the oldest graduates next year and is on her way to college. I look back and say I did it or that we did it. I volunteer alot of time with helping other single mothers get back on their feet and encourage them to go back to school if possible so that they to can become an entrepreneur and make life easier for their family. That is about the best moment of bliss that one can get and it don't get any better than that.

Hi my name is Victoria.My moment of bliss I would take the time to take my daughter to the park and just stand back and take that breath of fresh smelling flowers as she wave her hands up to the sky running free with out a worry or care in the world.And now when I walk pass some fresh smelling flowers and takes that breath it takes me back to that time.And that to me is my moment of bliss.
