Hey there everybody! I am probably the only African-American Tennessee Hillbilly you will ever meet. I am also now defined as "an older American" and I am loving every minute of it! Retired from the Tennessee Valley Authority and from the TN Army National Guard. Recently I did a stint with AmeriCorps which is a government program. The pay is lousy but you get a certificate for several thousand dollars to pay on school loans at the end of you contract. I worked in the homes and apartments of senior citizens installing Grab Bars and hand-held showers, shower seats, etc., just to make their lives a bit more comfortable and safer. At the present time I have entered into another career and that is as a writer. I have three books to my credit and my latest is a biography titled . . . I am desperately trying to get the word out to the right person who can help me make a difference with this book. I am not being dramatic when I say that one day very soon the world will be reading and seeing this story on the small screen. I spend a lot of time attempting to get the word out about . . . If anyone of you out there in cyberspace (reading this) know of anyone with any connections to the movie industry or how to get to Oprah, etc., please help a Sista out if you can!! I also have a love of travel . . . local and abroad. I believe that when we broaden our experiences, it really does make us more open-minded and a lot less critical.
