Recommend this profile to your Facebook friends. personal messageI am a lover of life, a Queen in her own right. I design jewelry that is culturally based, using African symbols that remind us of the commitments we have made to freedom and self-development. My life is guided by the Principles and Virtues of MAAT. I am a constant work in progress toward the ultimate humanity. It is a process and a journey that I am enjoying inspite of the steps backward, I keep it moving forward, EVER!! My motto is: THINK MAAT, BE MAAT I seek conversations with GROWN MEN from my era. I don't have tattos, nose or tongue rings nor do I like excessive tattoos all over anyone as that indicates to me that you have nothing to do with your time but mark up your body, they do that in prison. Nor do I like nose rings or tongue rings on anyone. If a cocked cap, jogging suit and gym shoes your idea of decent presentation, then forget contacting me, I don't befriend boys who are always dressed for playtime. favorite pages

This is not to say that Precious doesn’t exist, this is also not to say that incest does not occur in Black families, however it is to say that more than a “Black Precious” exists and THAT is what is not portrayed on the silver screen. Once an image is displayed via the silver screen, it becomes... (continue reading)
I recently saw a documentary entitled After Innocense and I was moved to tears and wondering what I could do to help these people who were released from prison after years of being wrongly convicted. I have in the past written letters on behalf of those who are actually locked up, but now realize that after they are free, more for them must be done. I just ask people to think about it as if it were them. Wouldn't they want someone to lift their voices on their behalf. It is sad to know... (continue reading) |
