About me, I am 5`9, 170lbs, athletic build use your imagination on the rest. Life is truely
my journey and my stage, so if you like Jazz, Candle light and fine red wine then hit a

Tonight I'm traveling on the broken pieces of my heart,
This search for love is tearing my soul apart.
Love can be dangerous,
Because it changes -
Sometimes rearranges,
Like a hurricane,
It causes so much pain,
In the strangest ways.
But it never pays,
When "sistas" attempt to play,
With my emotions.
Erupting commotion
Like flaming lava, let me break this down to you in
slow motion.

She wanted to be wined and dined,
She expected my money and my time
Certain "sistas" are never satisfied,
They want your checkbook, your black book and
your pride,
And if you give her a long stem rose,
She'll expect you to kneel and propose,
Nobody knows -
The mind of a material queen,
Understand what I mean,
One minute she'll want everything,
And in the next minute -
To a material girl love won't mean a thing.

You can -
commit sin;
But then again
you can -
Live right;
And read her poetry at midnight -
underneath a full moonlight,
But when the clock strikes -
Twelve,
She'll still argue, fuss and fight.
"Brothas" am I right.
This is why love can be dangerous,
Because it changes,
Sometimes rearranges,
In the strangest ways.

Then you have those "sistas"who don't realize,
That it's more to love than what's between their
thighs,
And even though she'll be wearing a disguise,
Her makeup,
Is just a cover up,
The spirit of jezebel will always corrupt.
I'm telling you the games people play,
You've got to pay close attention to things "sistas"
say.
Listen as I tell -
Of my first date from hell;
When I first gazed into her moonlit eyes,
I did not realize -
She only wanted to still my sanity,
And humiliate my manly humanity.
I once thought her presence
Represented the very essence,
Of everything -
Love could ever mean,
I just knew she was my eternal queen.
The jewel of my Nile,
But after a while,
Those Feelings
Faded.

This is why love can be dangerous,
Because it changes,
Sometimes rearranges,
In the strangest ways.

Should I tell the rest,
Or save the best -
For later.
I've never been a "hater" or a procrastinator,
But she was hiding her feelings between the lines,
trying to play with my emotions and my mind,
Indeed she was fine,
But I wasn't interested in wasting my time -
On a relationship,
That flipped -
Into downward spiral,
Soon to cycle,
To an abrupt end,
One too psychologically starved to comprehend.
