Dont let anyone turn you around,
Keep your feet on solid ground,
As long as you continue to do your best,
Whatever you do, youll be a success.
 
You may get discouraged sometimes,
You might even want to cry,
But always remember, To hold your head up high.
 
Sometimes life is full of disappointment,
Sometimes it is full of pain,
But as long as you keep your faith in God,
Success youll surely gain.
 
There have been many mountains I thought
I couldnt climb, But ended up climbing most of them,
Once I made up my mind.
 
I have dreamed many dreams that never came true,
And when I thought all hope was gone,
God stepped in and gave me the will to make me
Want to keep dreaming on.
 
I have prayed many prayers that went unanswered,
Even though I was patient and waited so long.
But the Lord has answered enough of my prayers,
To make me keep praying on.
 
I have trusted many so-called friends,
Who in the end left me to weep alone,
But I have enough true friends,
To keep me trusting on.
 
I have sown many seeds that fell by the way,
Seeds that the birds fed upon,
But I have enough golden sheaves in hand
To keep me sowing on.
 
I have known the pain of disappoint,
And I have gone many days without sun,
But I have sipped enough from
The roses of life to make me want to live on.
 
No matter what your goal in life,
No matter what you do
As long as you keep faith in God,
He will see you through.
