First of all let me start by saying that I ADORE women and everything about you. No matter what color. Your strength, your character, being head of the house hold, the cook, the nurse, and sad to say sometimes *DADDY*.
CHILDREN
Have you ever wondered why a lot of Black children who are considered "bad" act the way they do?
9 times out of 10 it`s one of these reasons:
1)They can`t read
2)Can`t write
3)Can`t spell
4)Can`t add, subtract, multiply or divide
5)And last but not least, NOT HAVING A FATHER.
I just want to say to all the Blackplanet men. If you have children and are fortunate enough to have the GIFT of a Black woman that loves you for what ever reason, don`t beat her, don`t disrespect her - especially in public, and last but not least; Don`t get a white woman just because she`s white. Have one because you love her.
Our children should`nt have to see "DADDY" going to work in a skirt.
PROPER LOVE to all the women who take care of their children without a male presence in the home.
I`ve literally worked with hundreds and hundreds of elementary children, teenagers, and gang members. I know what you have to go through as a single parent of one, or many children.
Proper Love and admiration to all the Black male AND female teachers who do their jobs for little or no pay and still put up with all the BS of the adults that take you thru the ringer while YOU`RE trying to educate our children. PROFESSIONAL JEALOUSY, RUMORS, GOSSIP, BACK BITING, INFEDELITY, and last but not least "UNCLE TOMS." I hate "UNCLE TOMS."
NO LOVE to my Black people that run schools across the country and not seeing to it that our children have the best OF EVERYTHING. PUT THE MONEY YOU GET FROM THE STATE INTO THE SCHOOLS AND NOT IN YOUR POCKET.
People, we will never get ahead in the new millinium kickin` and draggin` all this baggage in from slavery! NEVER!
*WHY I'M TRYIN` 2 LIVE RIGHT*
A young man who had been raised as an atheist was training to be an Olympic diver. The only religious influence in his life came from his outspoken Christian friend. The young diver really never paid attention to his friend`s sermons, but he had heard them often.
One night the diver went to the indoor pool at the college he attended. All the lights were off, but the ceiling of the pool had huge skylights in it and the moon was very bright, which he thought gave him enough light to practice by. The young man climbed to the highest diving board and as he turned his back to the pool on the edge of the board and extended his arms outward, he saw his shadow on the wall. The shadow of his body was in the shape of a cross. Instead of diving he knelt down and finally asked Christ to come into his life.
As the young man stood to continue his dive, a maintenance man walked in and turned on the lights.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
I`m not trying to preach, I just keep it REAL. When I read the story about the diver, it really made me think, How many times have WE been at death`s door? Even if you don`t think you have, believe me when I tell you, YOU HAVE. Whether you know it or not. I`ve been pulled over by the police several times for no reason AT ALL. As a black man in America I`m getting use to it. My car has been searched, I`ve been frisked, only for them not to find a damn thing. But whose to say that if God didn`t have his hand on me, I wouldn`t have been shot when I was trying to give them my ID? You wouldn`t be reading this now.
