Grow Waist Length African American Hair African American women can grow hair to WL (waist length). Together, we learn, and explore products, and techniques to retain the 6 inches per year that we grow. The majority of the products targeted towards us, for our hair care, have been the very agents, destroying our hair for generations. I believe that secretly every sista, at some point in her life, fantasized about having WL hair. The key to WL African American hair, is knowledge, and support. Join me in this journey. Black Men who want to support us are welcomed. Pass on a legacy of healthy hair care practices to our daughters. Our primary aim is to support African American Women growing hair to it's healthiest, optimal, desired length. The ladies that keep me encouraged and motivated: RusticBeauty-Natural Longhairdontcare-Natural Sera2544-Natural Marand313-Natural Sylver2-Relaxed Traycee-Transitioning 2 Texlaxed Justthisgirl1-Relaxed
For the ladies who have visited my page and asked questions about my hair. Basic Staple Products 100% raw, unrefined Shea Butter Virgin, unrefined Coconut OilJojoba Oil Avocado Oil (if it's not green it's fake Extra Virgin Olive Oil (the greener the better)
Whole Leaf Aloe Vera Juice or Gel (wholefoods 365 Brand is cheap and very effective)
Rose Water
Honey Honey Honey
Shedding? Fresh garlic juice in deep conditioner treatment with heat.
I NEVER EVER use products that contain- mineral oil, or petroleum.
These products wrap, coat and, suffocate our hair, ultimately causing breakage. Our hair does grow.
Our hair is fragile and needs HYDRATION !
Oil is not HYDRATION. Oil is Oil, period.
Hope that helps ladies.
If you have, ideas, suggestions, or questions just ask..
I love hair : -))
How do I love thee? Let me count the ways
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight For the ends of Being and ideal Grace. I love thee to the level of everyday's Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light. I love thee freely, as men strive for Right; I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise. I love thee with the passion put to use In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith. I love thee with a love I seemed to lose With my lost saints!---I love thee with the breath, Smiles, tears, of all my life!---and, if God choose, I shall but love thee better after death. SONNET #43, FROM THE PORTUGUESE By Elizabeth Barrett Browning
