I was born and raised in New Orleans. I lived in Texas from 2005-2010. I've been in Virginia since March of 2011. Im newly single. I moved to Va to be with my fiance but apparently things dont always go as planned. Im at the point in my life where I want to get married and have kids. Im in no rush to make these things happen. Im not on BP looking for my future husband or future boyfriend. Its just a door Im opening to meet people. I dont mind the occasional date, hanging out, or friendship.

Im a free spirit and an open mind. I like dancing, singing, and being bubbly and goofy, dancing, parties and being outgoing. But I also like reading and writing, poetry and music, walking on the beach, staying home and watching a movie or playing video games. Im from the South, I like southern things. If you've ever been to New Orleans, you know its a totally different type of place.

Im a Vet Tech at an animal hospital. Im taking classes online to get my Associates Degree in Applied Science to become a Licensed Vet Tech. I LOVE animals, I will take a dog over having a man. If you dont like animals, we will not work out, even on a friend level. I just dont tend to connect with people who arent animal people. I do not have a job, this is my career.

Im strong, independent, outgoing, open minded, social, and a conversationalist. I dont like overly aggressive, pushy, or needy men. I also dont like overly sensitive men. I like dominant men who knows that being a man isnt about acting "hard" all the time. Men have emotions, I dont want to have to play a guessing game to figure out what those feelings are. I dont like bullshyt or drama, I say what I feel and what I think. I do what I love. If you cant be an honest and open individual, please dont waste my time.

I like to take my time and get to know people. I move at MY pace, on MY time, and on MY speed. Im totally not interested in wasting my time with people. If you dont possess patience, dont know that you get more when you work hard, not willing to take your time, I just cant be bothered with it. Im just too old to be changing who I am. I know what I like, I know what I want, I know HOW and WHO I am. Im 100% upfront and im not interested in mind games with men over the internet.

Me in a relationship: Im slow in warming up to people, I dont fall in love easily but I fall hard when I do. I believe I may be a bit too compromising and understanding as I have had my kindness abused one too many times in the past. But it is who I am. I have a huge heart and I could move a mountain if I love someone enough. I will not be your mother and raise you, but I will dayum sure hold my man down. Im a totally hopeless romantic. I like small things like cute text msgs, flowers for no reason, poems, cards, dates, or whatever other insignificant things. I like romance, spontaneity, open conversations, hanging out, going out, supporting and spoiling my man and getting the same in return. I go into everything with a guard up, I will send you through tests and trials to prove your worth. Im not a easy chick. Im not the chick with kids everywhere and doing nothing with my life, I know Im a good catch and nothing worth having comes easy.
