Veteran contemporary jazz group Fourplay plans to head back into the studio in January to deliver a new CD by June 2008.

Fourplay's previous CD entitled, X, which was released in 2005, climbed to the #1 spot on Billboard's Contemporary Jazz chart almost immediately. The set included the single, My Love's Leaving, featuring Michael McDonald.

Fourplay members include, Bob James, Nathan East, Larry Carlton, and Harvey Mason.

Grammy winner Norah Jones' first foray into film acting is finally coming to theatres in the U.S. The romantic comedy My Blueberry Nights, will be shown in limited release starting February 13, 2008. The indie film also stars Jude Law, Tim Roth, Rachel Weisz, Kevin Spacey, Ed Harris and Natalie Portman.

The late singer Gerald Levert is featured on the new holiday CD by keyboardist Jim Brickman, titled Homecoming. Levert, who passed away a year ago, attended Shaker Heights High School with Brickman.
