I received a note in response to what i said above that i thought i should share.

Subject: No subject provided hello...like your message....but on the flip side of that....coming from a woman who's been through that sort of thing...It's time for us women to stand up and make a change....a change within ourselves....99.9% of the time, a man can do no more harm to us than what we allow...it's time for us to stop ignoring all of the signs that are quite visible...stop thinking that the man may change or worst of all we can change him. We have to start taking responsibility for our own lives and start demanding respect, raise our expectations and stop settling for nothing less than what we deserve...If we women as a whole begin practicing these standards...the men will have no choice but to ACT RIGHT.....I'm almost 40 yrs old and trust me it took me to about a year ago to get that concept..I guess that's why for the past 8 or 9 months I've been without a date, etc...because I refuse to settle...a woman if she pays close attention she can tell within a couple mins or less of the conversation if the man is worthy of her time. Please help me inform my sisters...thank you
I think this is all something we should take to heart and make a change for the better.

they are hard to find just as a good woman is hard to find. You
just got to know were to look and not be afraid to make the first
