What if...

I come to you in the morning,
like clear waters from spring cavers,like an offering to refresh the you that was washed away in the night zones neon sparkle.



I come to you with comb and oils,
flower petals floating in water baths for your feet,
tenderness for your tight temples, incense and candles to remind you
of night zones that did not numb your senses.



I come to you in a glimpse or gesture, rising lightly as I move across the room, like a flamingo landing here and there about the waters.
Caught your eye as if it were the star that night zones had not stolen from your dreams in the sky.



I come to you in a faint remembrance,
layers beneath the voice who do not listen, the familiar faces and smiling as they suck your breaths away so slowly.



I come to you with a promise,
a prophecy, and the vision for your
heartache.
Your eyes have grown strong from seeing through the night zones with little light.
Your ears have grown strong from
picking out the sounds from the night zones din and clamor.
In its midst will come
the voice of a bird to carry you away...
