Hi! I'm Sahara C. I was born in Zimbabwe and migrated to the UK more than 10 years ago. I'm a singer / songwriter in the R&B/Soul genre, though I'd love to do some UK Garage, and of course some dancehall tracks!! Listen here to a song called "Nostalgia" which I wrote about growing up in Zimbabwe - I guess you can tell I'm sentimental about the fun times we had back then.. :) So far I've placed in the semi-finals of the UK Songwriting Contest for 3 years in a row - for my songs "Goodbye Playa" (2007), "No Tomorrow" (2008) and my recently recorded "Last Goodbye" (2009) Please check out my BlackPlanet artist page here
