We enter life with both hands up in the air and fists clenched tightly.

We are born empty-handed.
There are no hands to hold but our own.

We learn to reach out, but only after we have had a chance to reach inward and upward.

It is the upward reach of the spirit and the inward reach of the soul that enables the outward reach of the body.

This is a passage from one of my favorite books....

THE LADY, HER LOVER, HER LORD.

by T.D. Jakes.

I recommend this book to all that are struggling with something in life.
For me it has opened my mind to think about my life and in which direction it is headed.

I am a strong, independent, black woman that believes that there are still good black men out there.I believe that we as black women must stop allowing our past to limit us.
And to my brothas, if it is not a black woman that you choose to be with, be with her for love and not because you think that she can be what we are not.
Remember no one understands you as  we do.

WITH OUT OUR HISTORY.......

Although our ancestorsendured being captured like animals;
to be denounced from AFRICAN ROYALITY to another man`s possession of property;
to face the agony of being separated from their families; of being denied to speak their native tongue.
One must acknowledge slavery as part of our history and culture which we should not ignore or feel a sense of humiliation.
It is through this unbearable treatment which has made us a strongpeople.  We must look at the positive perspective, as it is the roots of our spirtuals which are sung today; it empowered determination to rise above racism.

The magnificant contribution that are Africans, made to society is a legacy we must convey to future generations of all walks of life.

Thank for stoppin byplease sign the guest book on the way our and I will return the favor.  br />
Much Luv.....The Breeze
