Seth Williams is running for Philadelphia District Attorney because he has the experience to make our communities safer places to live, work and raise our families.
Seth is the most qualified candidate for District Attorney. He served as an Assistant District Attorney for more than a decade, repeatedly winning promotions for his work. In addition to his appointment as the Municipal Assistant Chief of the Municipal Court, he created and led the Repeat Offenders Unit to reduce the high percentage of crimes committed by repeat offenders. Seth's extensive trial experience includes 37 jury trials, more than 1,500 bench trials and more than 2,500 felony preliminary hearings.
Not only does Seth have the most experience, he also has the best plans for the office of District Attorney. Seth is the only candidate with a detailed plan of reform for the office. As D.A., he will work with law enforcement, the courts and the community to reduce gun violence and reform the office through community-based prosecution.
Seth is qualified, experienced and a committed community leader. He has served as president of many local civic associations and is currently a Major in the Judge Advocate General Corps of the U.S. Army Reserve. He is also a proud member of many boards, including those of the Catholic Social Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, the Overbrook Park Civic Association & Town Watch, the St. Martin de Porres Foundation and the West Philadelphia Y.M.C.A.
