NEGATIVITY

Negativity, is something so small, but it's a growing epidemic that is eating our in our community alive.
Is it wrong to dream
Is it wrong to want more for yourself than just sitting on the block and slanging drugs or working at the local store because that's what everyone else is doing?
So why is when we tell our peers that we desire more than the path well beaten are we met with such negativity?
When I started my journey 8 years ago to become a nurse, I had so many people tell me how hard it was and that I would never succeed. I had grown older women telling me I was wasting my time in Bachelors program when I could go to an easier program. In 2006, I not only graduated, but I was invited to join the National Honor Society of Nursing and am currently researching masters programs.
When's the last time you encouraged your fellow man or woman? Let's stop all the HATING and let's kill this negativity bug one step at a time

ABOUT ME:   I am 25 year old Pediatric ICU nurse (R.N.), who enjoys shopping (I'm a diva and a fashionista!!!), reading, anything and everything, I love trying new things, whether it be a new restaurant, a great dish that someone made, seeing a new play on Broadway, or whatever you have in mind (within reason!!). I am not the type of person that wants to sit at home every single night on the couch, I have a mover & shaker personality, and I need someone that can keep up with me!!!
