Poetically inclined to blow your mind

with my chosen words at this time.

I chose to inspire and assign

to all the fans who read my lines.

Single Mom whose kids shine bright

and give me strength to move on with life.

The Recession tried to take a bite

but I'm no quitter, I choose to fight.

For a moment I couldn't see the light

everything was black and all graphite.

I was stuck right out in plain sight

like a deer caught up in the headlights.

Until I heard a voice very caring and polite

told me not to give up on this plight.

You're almost there don't give up out of spite

and keep dreaming baby you will be alright.

Out Of Despair

You nevered left me

even when no one was there.

Lonliness took over my body

and then you reappeared.

These trials are only brief.

Is what I hear into my ear.

The sun is always sunny,

because that is what GOD declares.

Never feel lonely

Because GOD is everywhere.

On mountaintop and the sea

waiting for you my dear.

Follow GOD bravely

GOD will take you out of despair.

GOD will show you righteous love

and how much GOD really cares.

Shakia's Dream 2001 (Based On A Real Dream)

I was walking in a paradise

and it was beautiful and warm,

something like a beach.

All of a sudden the atmosphere changed

and I began falling out of the sky.

I heard a voice,

It wasn't male or female.

It was like the "whisper of the wind".

The voice asked me:

Who is the only one to believe in?

I answered:"In you GOD."

Immediately I was placed back in the paradise

and standing on the ground.

So I began walking again

and the atmosphere changed again

instantly.

I was falling out of the sky again.

The voice asked again:

"Who is the only one to believe in?"

Again I answered:"In you GOD""

Then I was placed back in the paradise.

Keep Smiling Despite The Rain

My internal sun is shining

while the sky's all gray and crying.

My smile is so wide

it's blinding.

When the rain is blue

and whining.

Searching for treasure

when there's no findings.

But all I can do

is keep on smiling.

Don't fall back

keep on styling.

Take the handle

and keep on winding.
