Shazman is an upcoming Dancehall/Reggae artist located in The Netherlands.
For the past few years he has been bizzy tryin to find himself in the reggae world
and has finally created his own style with firying flows, hardcore lyrics and most of all ENERGY.
His music has already set foot in the caribbean since he dropped his 1st Promo CD on the streets
of Suriname, Guyana, The Netherlands and soon worldwide! Check out the website. http://www.shazman.com http://www.soundclick.com/shaz man At age 14, Shaz started writing songs & poetry. He started out writing about his childhood days in Guyana but wasnt able to record his songs. Not long after, he met some local rappers who was tryin to rise up in the music biz as well. They collaborated and did a lot of promo shows, but ended up nowhere. Around age 18, he was introduced to DJ Maintain, a cousin of one of his friends at the time. DJ Maintain explained to him that they're tryin to set up their own record label, "Frontline Records", and would like him to be apart of it. he agreed without hesitation. He was now given a chance to record his music but would still have to wait. The studio wasnt completely built yet. A year later he was approached by Casablanca Connect, a local DJ who was workin on his first album at the time, to do a collaboration. The song they did, "Hot Gal", was his first ever recording. Eventually he recorded 5 songs with Casablanca Connect that came out on CC's promo album.

In october 2002, age 20, he finally received a call from DJ Maintain. The studio was done. Thats when he was introduced to the other Frontline members: Phantom Loc, Crip Face, Rizky Rough and Killa Child.
A short while after he was introduced to Sjef, a dutch producer who was familiar with the dancehall reggae vibes. He and Shaz instantly linked and started recording along side producer Phantom Loc.

At present, Shazman is workin on this first album which is expected to be out anytime 2007. Workin with producers like Sjef, Phantom Loc and Dakta D, he's hopin to create an album with a variety of dancehall sounds that's never been heard. Shazman's first promotion album is out now!

The album is called "Ow yuh want it" and has 19 solid tracks on it, all with a completely different flava. From raw dancehall sounds to conscious reggae vibes. He does it all.

The entire album was recorded at Shazman's personal home studio. Not having any record label, not a recording studio, he had to do everything himself. Recording, mixing, editing, cover design, you name it. It's GOOD to GO!

It's a recommendation if you're a dancehall/reggaefan. Some Hot jamaican riddims like Military, Siren and Wild tonite mixed with riddims from producer Dakta-D, Di Chief & P-Locsta from Frontline Records. The album will keep you bouncing. Whether it's in your living room or in the club. If you're a dancehall nut, you gotta check it out.
